Story
Jason and his companions managed to forestall the inexorable undead, but their battle is far from done. Both they and their enemies are scattered across a strange realm, one that someone must conquer if anyone is to get out alive. Territory by territory, factions fight to reunite their people and conquer the realm. Jason must contend with alliances he doesn’t want, friends he cannot find, and enemies ranging from angelic despots to the power of an undead god. He must face a realm that has been warped by his own mind and find a way to save a friend whose sacrifice got them this far.

The story continues to be amazing! The recording is lacking…
Reviewed: 07-27-24
All in all, I think this book was incredible. And anything that I have complaints about does not take away from the story of the entire series or this specific book, at all. The story is just as compelling as the previous books, if not more so. I think that Shirtaloon continues to tell a story that somehow builds on itself while maintaining a level of entertainment unparalleled to almost any serious I have read.
The biggest complaint I have is with some of the recording. It seems like it was a bit, rushed to finish the book to get it out quickly. I noticed a lot of issues with quality, the readers voice changing randomly, as if they had re-recorded sections. There was a couple chapters where he sounded like he was sick, so his voice sounded entirely different. Little things like that. Again it didn’t distract from the story, I just hope that for the next one they take a little more care to ensure the quality is as good as the book itself.

Story
Visit the magical animal world of Brian Jacques in this thrilling prequel to Redwall. Long before the abbey of Redwall is built, the land is known simply as Mossflower, a lush woodland and happy home to all. That is, until Tsarmina, a cruel wildcat queen who demands obedience and offers the castle's dungeon to those who defy her, comes along. Brian Jacques' tales of courageous heroes and deliciously hateful villains have captivated countless readers.
