Story
Cass is having a hard time since the night she saw the car in the woods, on the winding rural road, in the middle of a downpour, with the woman sitting inside - the woman who was killed. She's been trying to put the crime out of her mind; what could she have done, really? It's a dangerous road to be on in the middle of a storm. Her husband would be furious if he knew she'd broken her promise not to take that shortcut home. And she probably would only have been hurt herself if she'd stopped.

I really enjoyed this psychological thriller. Everything about it was great. Narrator, story line, ending...Bravo! This my second audiobook by this author. She's very good at pulling you so far into the story that it's like watching a movie or something. Definitely worth a credit.

Story
Amber wakes up in a hospital. She can't move. She can't speak. She can't open her eyes. She can hear everyone around her, but they have no idea. Amber doesn't remember what happened, but she has a suspicion her husband had something to do with it. Alternating between her paralyzed present, the week before her accident, and a series of childhood diaries from 20 years ago, this brilliant psychological thriller asks: Is something really a lie if you believe it's the truth?

This is one of my top 5 favorite audiobooks!Definitely worth a credit or buying outright. I couldn't stop listening! The ending was unexpected and I loved it. The comparison of The Breakfast Club and Pretty Little Liars was spot on. I'd even compare it to Clue haha. After listening to this book I was looking high and low for multiple narrator books and more from this author. I've listened to this book twice now!

Story
Marianne has a life others dream of. A beautiful townhouse on the best street in the neighbourhood. Three bright children who are her pride and joy. Sometimes her past still hurts: losing her mother early, growing up in foster care. But her husband, Simon, is always there. A successful surgeon, he’s the envy of every woman they’ve ever met. Flowers, gifts, trips to France: nothing is too good for his family. Then Simon says another woman’s name. The way he lingers on it, Caroline, gives Marianne a shudder of suspicion, but she knows it’s nothing - she can’t entertain this flash of paranoia.

This book started off great. Towards the middle I couldn't stop listening but once we found out what was actually "going on" it flopped. It was unrealistic and repetitive. It dragged out so much that wasn't necessary. I just wanted it to be over with. I really struggled to finish this. ugh.

Story
It starts with a simple favor—an ordinary kindness mothers do for one another. When her best friend, Emily, asks Stephanie to pick up her son Nicky after school, she happily says yes. Nicky and her son, Miles, are classmates and best friends, and the five-year-olds love being together—just like she and Emily. A widow and stay-at-home mommy blogger living in woodsy suburban Connecticut, Stephanie was lonely until she met Emily, a sophisticated PR executive whose job in Manhattan demands so much of her time.

I hated the narrator for Emily. The way she spoke ruined the story for me. I finished the book just to hear how it ended. Hated the ending too.
