WHAT, REALLY?

This book starts out REALLY good and interesting. And toward the end I'm just OVER It. It's just the same nonsense over and over again. And even though you're curious about what really happened, it gets to a point where you just want to know and be done with it. But at the same time, what could have been a really interesting and shocking ending, just wasn't all that exciting or surprising. I will say, the narrator was FANTASTIC. Each person had a very distinct voice and I loved that.

Somewhat Enjoyable

I liked the narrator. She was very good. I liked the book and have listened to it twice. I like the twist and turns. It’s hard to tell who’s lying and who’s telling the truth. A good listen. Not too taxing.

Mouth Still Opened!!

I have listened to a few of Lucy Dawson audible books and I must say this is her best one by far. I really loved this audible, didn't want to stop listening. I found myself pulling up at home and still sitting in my driveway indulged. With many audibles I try not to do this because I need to save my audible for when I'm on the road but this one made it very difficult, that's how good it was, It was so worth the credit! I can't wait for more of her audibles to come out!! I'm definitely a fan!!

It was ok.

I really wanted to like this from all the reviews I've read, but I didn't. I was highly disappointed, the twists were pretty easy to figure out before they're revealed, the characters weren't likeable, so I didn't care what happened to any of them. The narration was pretty good though.

Disappointing

I just finished this book and I feel like there was so much not discussed. Very disappointed. Narrator did a great job though.

I could not put it down

It is not uplifting, but it is engaging, well written, well performed.. At times I wanted to stop, but just had to see how it turned out.

Whodunit? Kept me guessing till the very end.

I guessed him, her, him, her again. Great story. Naration could have been better, though

One of her best!

Great story and narration. Walked the dog for longer bouts while listening! Suspected how it would end and who did what but this did not deter me from enjoying the novel right to the very last word,

Keeps you guessing

Told from numerous points of view, this tale will keep you guessing about what really happened til the end (and for some things, you'll still be wondering). The characters do a number of stupid things in this story, but then again so do real humans. I would have rated it higher if the basic premise behind the protagonist's behavior had been believable, but it wasn't.
