Loved every second of the audiobook! The narrators nailed it—Allyson Voller brought Vasilisa’s sass and smarts to life, and Gregory Salinas? His voice for Rafael had me swooning. You could feel the tension and tenderness between them, and when Rafael dropped that “little wasp” line in Italian… I melted. This was one of those audiobooks I couldn’t pause—perfect for anyone who loves a little fire, a lot of heart, and some seriously good banter. Highly recommend!

I absolutely devoured The Wrong Quarterback by C.R. Jane! The seamless transition from the hockey world to football was a delightful surprise, offering a fresh yet familiar vibe. The camaraderie among the characters was heartwarming, and the banter between the guys had me laughing out loud—such a highlight! However, I did feel that the male characters bore a striking resemblance to those in the hockey series; a bit more distinction would have been appreciated. Overall, a fantastic read that kept me thoroughly entertained!

Casey, the female main character, is a quiet freshman navigating her new college life after a tragic accident. Her journey from vulnerability to strength is both relatable and inspiring. Parker Davis, the star quarterback, is everyone’s fantasy—painfully good-looking and charming as sin. His relentless pursuit of Casey, declaring her as his “endgame,” adds an intense dynamic to the story.

I’m also eagerly anticipating Jace Thatcher’s story in The Wrong Play!

Sinners Consumed by Somme Sketcher is an electrifying continuation of the Sinners Anonymous series, focusing on the tumultuous relationship between Rafael “Rafe” Visconti and Penelope “Penny” Price. Their dynamic is a masterclass in tension, blending enemies-to-lovers and age-gap romance within a dark mafia backdrop.

The narration brings Rafe and Penny to life, capturing their intense chemistry and the intricate layers of their personalities. Rafe’s transformation from a gentlemanly facade to an unhinged lover obsessed with Penny is both compelling and unsettling. Penny’s resilience and wit shine through, making her a standout heroine who challenges Rafe at every turn.

The plot is a rollercoaster of emotions, with twists that keep listeners on edge. The continuation of the Sinners Anonymous universe, including characters like Rory (nicknamed Psycho Sally by Rafe) and Angelo, adds depth and richness to the story. The anticipation for Gabe’s story is palpable, promising more intrigue and passion in future installments.

For fans of dark romance with complex characters and sizzling chemistry, Sinners Consumed is a must-listen that will leave you craving more.

This book was a wild ride, and honestly, I wasn’t sure how I felt at first. Rafael and Penelope’s relationship? Let’s just say it’s complicated—like “fireworks and hurricanes” complicated.

At first, Rafael’s constant coldness and harsh words really got under my skin. I couldn’t figure out how Penelope stood it! But then, as the story unfolded, I realized there’s so much more to both of them. Rafael has this simmering intensity that pulls you in, and Penelope? She’s a firecracker, always pushing boundaries, stirring up trouble, and refusing to back down.

The push and pull between them is everything. It’s messy and emotional, but the chemistry is undeniable. And as frustrating as they could be, I found myself rooting for them to figure it out. Their pasts, their secrets, the way they challenge each other—it’s what makes the story so addictive.

Somme Sketcher’s writing has this gritty, emotional edge that pulls you in and doesn’t let go. Even when I was frustrated with the characters, I couldn’t stop reading. The twists, the tension, the buildup—it all leads to a cliffhanger that left me desperate for the next book.

If you love enemies-to-lovers with a ton of angst and a romance that keeps you on the edge of your seat, Sinners Condemned is for you. Just be prepared—it’s part one of a duet, and you’ll definitely want to dive into the next book right away!

The narration of Tangled in Tinsel absolutely stole the show! The narrator brought each character to life with vibrant energy and made the book so much more engaging. Every inflection and tone felt spot-on, enhancing the humor and chemistry in the story. The holiday vibes were cozy and fun, making it a perfect seasonal listen.

That said, I found the protagonist’s wishy-washy attitude a little frustrating. At times, it felt like her indecision overshadowed the plot, making it harder to fully connect with her. Despite that, the dynamic interactions and witty banter kept me hooked until the end. Overall, the narration elevated the story and made this a worthwhile listen.

This book is everything I adore in a romance. The way Tilly allows the male lead to genuinely love and cherish a heroine who feels insecure about her looks is both heartwarming and empowering. Michael’s unwavering affection for Alice, despite her self-doubts, is beautifully portrayed and makes their love story incredibly touching.

The collection comprises three novellas—Second Bite, Snowed In Bite, and Wedding Bite—each adding depth to Michael and Alice’s journey. Their chemistry is undeniable, and the festive settings provide a cozy backdrop that enhances the romantic atmosphere.

Tilly’s writing is engaging and filled with humor, making it impossible to put the book down. And that epilogue—NERO—left me on the edge of my seat! I can already see where her next book is headed, and I cannot wait to dive into it.

Highly recommend for anyone seeking a heartfelt and uplifting romance!

I really struggled with The Bonus. The story felt frustrating from the start, and I couldn’t connect with the characters or their decisions. The male lead came across as overly dramatic and immature when things didn’t go his way. His behavior in the workplace bordered on inappropriate, and the way he tried to assert control over the heroine’s children without even going through the proper legal channels was baffling.

The romance itself felt off-balance—rather than showing growth or consideration for the heroine, the focus seemed to be on him stepping into the role of “father” right away, with little emphasis on their actual relationship. The resolution didn’t feel like a satisfying happily-ever-after, especially since the journey was so frustrating.

Additionally, the narrative felt unnecessarily long; the book could have been much shorter without losing anything meaningful. I also couldn’t help but feel bad for the exes and significant others that were brushed aside along the way.

That said, the narrators were absolutely amazing and did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life. They truly elevated the material and made it more bearable to get through.

Overall, while the narration was excellent, the story itself just wasn’t for me, and I found it frustrating from start to finish.

The narration in Dark Protector was absolutely on point! Each voice fit so well, making the characters feel real and every moment thrilling. I loved knowing there would be a happily-ever-after, and having a dog in the mix added a warm touch. This is one of those audiobooks I’ll be replaying—it’s that good!

Credence blew me away. I hadn’t read anything by Penelope Douglas before, and this was my first ‘forbidden romance – but, wow, what a way to dive in! The characters truly make this book unforgettable.

Tiernan is such a strong yet vulnerable main character, navigating grief and her own identity, and seeing her develop throughout the story was so satisfying. She’s thrown into this rugged, isolated world with her step-uncle, Jake, and his two sons, Noah and Kaleb, and each relationship she builds with them is unique and intense in its own way. Jake has this strong, confident presence with a hint of darkness, while Noah brings charm and playfulness, balancing the heaviness. And then there’s Kaleb – he’s mysterious and raw, with this untamed energy that keeps you on edge.

Watching the characters evolve together is like a storm you can’t look away from – it’s emotional, intense, and complex. If you’re curious about stepping into a book that breaks the mold, Credence is perfect.
