Cummings is a brilliant reader. The story was as alive in my mind as watching a movie. But better! And what a story!

I liked the "innocence" aspects of the story: a man with NO experience with elephants suddenly had a herd of ROGUE elephants. He's not arrogant, but also not whining about his problems. He tries something novel, and if it works he doesn't stop to celebrate the 'win', he is ready for the next thing! The story is a bit long, but it kept me interested all the way to the end!

Writing a book on dog training, WITHOUT ANY PICTURES or video, isn't an easy thing to do. The author here does a great job. It is geared towards the beginner, but there are a few areas where even a moderately experienced trainer can pick up a few new tips. Everyone's training style is different, so with a couple caveats, I would definitely recommend this to my clients!

Michelle soon-to-be-Obama had very simple, similar upbringing. Every child's is a little different, of course, and listening about her family and home life was very interesting

If you are into true crime I highly recommend this book! Incredibly deeply researched, then told by the original victim/survivors, family members, and, most importantly, law enforcement personnel. Interesting listening!

I am not ordinarily a romance reader, but the backdrop of horses drew me in. I enjoyed the interwoven story line, with twists I didn't expect. I'll look for more like this!

I can get into the idea of spirit dogs, even talking ones; but this dog was not very likable from the start, but was worse when dead???

And the narrator seemed to forget which character was 'speaking' at times.
