I loved this book when I read it when it first came out. Now listening to the audio I love it all over again. Kristen Sieh does an amazing job narrating the book. Listening to her I can totally picture Brynn and Maxwell and visualize all their trials and tribulations, their parents h from friends to lovers and Brynn’s adventures with the Lady Mustangs.

Dominik is the latest book in the Arizona Vengeance series. As the owner, Dominik is everything a woman could want-rich, handsome, and basically a nice guy. Why then does the object of his desire seem to not really be interested in him. Willow is the sister I f Dax, one of the players and Dominik has been hit for her since they met. She seemed interested too and they had one flaming hot night. But since then...nada, nil, zilch! Willow has been hard to pin down.
Dominik didn’t get to be a gazillionaire without being persistent and he applies that same effort to getting Willow to spend time with him. Again, their time together is hotter than a ghost chile but Willow still holds back. She’s been burned before and she will not put herself through that again. When Dominik makes a big tactical error, it seems like there is no future for these two but love will always win (at least in the romance genre).
I loved this couple cause they made us work for that HEA! We learn a lot about Dominik’s motivation for his success and why he’s been a bit of a womanizer but that is balanced by him doing something for a player that is in direct conflict with his best business interest. Willow can be obstinate and digs in her heels but she is protecting her heart.
I both read and listened to this book. I loved the story and the combo of Christian Fox and Erin Mallon do a great job of bringing it to life through their narration. It was great to revisit earlier Arizona Vengeance characters and to interact with Ms Bennett’s excellent Code Name series.
Bring on the next book!

Joe Arden and McKenzie Cartwright do an excellent job telling us the story of Saint and Sin. Years ago the two were lovers while they were involved in high level thefts. Sin set up Saint and caused his arrest and subsequent imprisonment in order to save his life. Saint is now working for Jameson and is sent into an undercover situation involving a worldwide factoring theft ring led by a pretty bad guy. Imagine his surprise when he walks into his first meeting and sees Sin sitting at the table. Working together gives them time to talk about the past and work through her actions in the past. In a fast-paced story, their romance is flourishing in spite of the danger they find themselves in. Everything comes full circle before they can find their HEA.

The narrators do an excellent job of retelling the past while keeping the present time storyline moving right along. Tension is high both because of the dangerous job and the reawakening of old feelings between the two onetime lovers.. The various accents are well done and consistent. The narration added to my enjoyment of this book.
.

While this book is primarily Saint and Sin’s story, there is enough side action going on to set up future possibilities. Like the first two books in the series this one leaves you wanting the next one to come sooner rather than later!

All of us Arizona Vengeance fans have had a soft spot in our heart for Tacker, the grief stricken loner on the team. Since the death of his fiancée in a planed he was flying that crashed, Tacker has been a walking broken heart. When he finally pushes his luck too far he ends up suspended from the team and is forced to go for counseling.
Nora Wayne runs a ranch that offers various types of support for people in crisis including equine therapy. When tacker first arrives he is not impressed by Nora’s quotation “hippie dippy shit” and positive attitude. he wrongly believes that she could not understand his loss and sorrow.
Nora understands that she needs to show Tacker that she does truly get his guilt and unhappiness. A tragedy that occurred in war torn Kosovo meant the end of her family life and the end of her childhood. When she tells Tacker her story, she is then able to start working with him to make meaningful change.
I loved how Ms Bennett unfolded Tacker and Nora‘s story. She made it clear that like hockey, healing after a devastating loss is hard work. She did a great job bringing Tacker from a place of despair to seeing a future with happiness in it. The pace of their love story was respectful of Tacker’s past love and it’s special place in his heart. Nora is understanding but tough when needed.
I enjoyed reading this book and couldn’t go fast enough. Then, I listened to the audio version and found it to be excellently done. Stephen Dexter and Lucy Rivers skillfully narrate the story, never becoming overwrought but respectful of the emotion of the story. It was very satisfying to read and listen to this story that has been so anxiously awaited.
Now.....about Dominik!

I was so excited when I got approved for an ARC of this book. I had absolutely loved The Kiss Quotient and couldn’t wait to read this one. However, for some reason I really didn’t like this book. I ended up not reviewing it . Recently I saw that the next book in the series was coming out and I decided to revisit this book but as an audiobook. The narrator did an excellent job. I love this book!
Whatever strange mood I was in when I read this the first time has obviously gone because this is a great book. I enjoyed Khai as a character in the first book because his diagnosis of autism was connection to Stella, the heroine of the book. When Khai’
Khai’s mom goes to Vietnam to find him a bride she meets My in the ladies restroom of the hotel where she is interviewing potential brides. When My passes the initial bride test, she quickly finds her self on a plane heading to California to become Khai’s fiancé .
Now known as Esmeralda, or Esme for short, My finds herself living with a handsome but aloof man.
Author Hoang draws on her own spectrum experience to right about the difficulties of a couple dealing with cultural clashes, language issues, and each partner eagling with their own insecurities. I really enjoyed the way the relationship slowly unfurls because it seemed so realistic. Emotionally Esme is far ahead of Khai but feels the lack of education and sophistication. Khai has a great job and material things but he’s a baby when it comes to a relationship.
It was pretty wonderful when the man who thinks he has no feelings discovers that he does and the woman who thinks she has no value finds out she is truly a gem. The HEA is so satisfying because of the seeming impossibility at the beginning of the story.
Bring on Quan’s book, please!

When I got approved to review this audiobook, I went back and read the first book in the series and loved it. This just heightened my anticipation for this book. I have to say this is one tense read/listen. Jason Clarke and Lucy Rivers pull you into the story at the first word. Listening to Jason, you can absolutely picture Cruce as a hard bodied, eagle eyed, warrior. Lucy does an excellent job of portraying a woman who thinks only of her job but does notice that Cruce is a hunk. Former Secret Service agent Cruce is tasked with protecting the President’s niece, Barrett, who is working no on a formula that could change the world’s energy sources. When a kidnapping attempt is made on Barrett, Cruce takes her to a secluded island to keep her safe. Well, we all know what’s going to happen there. When the two of them finally give in to temptation, I almost drove off the road! As it was, I had to turn the sound down because I was going through a drive-through at the bank.
When I say this book was a tense story I mean it. First there’s the sexual tension between the two of them. Then there’s the hot sex that these two narrators just make burn through the speaker. Finally, when the story gets really serious, it becomes super tense. My commute is short and when I got to that part I couldn’t listen to it at work because of meetings so I ended up buying the e-book because I couldn’t wait any longer to see what happened. I read like a maniac during my lunch hour. And it was worth it! I did go back and listen to the ending of the book because I enjoyed the narrators so much. It was still pretty hard to listen to even knowing the end.
A definite 5 star listen and read!

Dax is a wonderful combination of two of my favorite themes- sports romance and the marriage of convenience. Dax marries the sister of his late best friend because she needs to have medical insurance to pay for treatment of her rare disease. Regan is opposed to the idea at first but eventually agrees and moves to Phoenix to live with Dax. Both of them are denying the significant spark of attraction between them and telling their friends that it's just pretend.
We all know how this is going to turn out, it's just how the author takes us on the trip that makes the book enjoyable. The interactions between Dax and his teammates about love and marriage are perfect. Regan's dilemma in dealing with the problems of having a so-called "orphan disease" is true to life. The hint of something between Dax's sister Willow and team owner Dominik is intriguing. Finally, the chemistry between Dax and Regan is HOT!
I read the book and then listened to the audio version which was very well done. Aiden Snow and Virginia Rose do an amazing job narrating. Both add a lot of inflection to their reading and by changing tones make it very clear who the different characters are. I enjoyed reading the book and the audio version just enhanced that enjoyment.

If you could sum up Irresistibly Yours in three words, what would they be?

Absolutely wonderful book

What did you like best about this story?

Loved the interplay between Penelope and Cole. They were mostly honest with each other, traded barbs but also had respect for each others skills. He's a player with women but doesn't come on strong with Penelope. She's not very experienced but she holds her own with Cole.

What does Lucy Malone bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She does a great job showing Pen's insecurities but keeping her spunky! I also enjoyed how she voiced Bobby, thought she did a great job.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

It started at Yankee stadium....

Any additional comments?

I loved the book when I first read it and loved it just a much listening to it.

What made the experience of listening to Kiss of Snow the most enjoyable?

The narrator does a great job reading the story and voicing the characters. She really brought the story to life. It was great to see two sets of characters finally get their HEA!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Sienna because she has so much love for Hawke and so much fear about her future. THe whole X plotline adds a lot of suspense to the romance.

Have you listened to any of Angela Dawe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

All of her other Psy Books have been excellent. I have all of them in my library.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Can love survive when one of the people has the ability to destroy them both?

Any additional comments?

The cover is terrible-neither character looks like they are described. Hawke has long silver blonde hair and Sienna has red hair.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Todd McLaren does a great job narrating this book and making the story come to life.

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoyed the interplay between Dtimun and Madeline. Their growing feelings for each other combined with the impossibility of any relationship makes the story poignant. The ending sets up the next book and answers some questions at the same time.

What about Todd McLaren’s performance did you like?

He does a great job with all of the voices. His Dtimun is spot on and he even does well with the female voices. I always enjoy the books he narrates.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I enjoyed it and found it to be a fun read.

Any additional comments?

I can't wait for the third book! It's been a long wait!
