Story
Every day without fail, Travis Devine puts on a cheap suit, grabs his faux-leather briefcase, and boards the 6:20 commuter train to Manhattan, where he works as an entry-level analyst at the city’s most prestigious investment firm. In the mornings, he gazes out the train window at the lavish homes of the uberwealthy, dreaming about joining their ranks. In the evenings, he listens to the fiscal news on his phone, already preparing for the next grueling day in the cutthroat realm of finance. Then one morning Devine’s tedious routine is shattered by an anonymous email: She is dead.

Twist and turns yet all the while thoroughly satisfying

Listened while on a train from Florida to Virginia. I would get mad when my mother kept interrupting my listening experience 😇. Great narration but more so the plot has a palpable body with hints of badass and sex appeal alike.

Story
This is the original 1927 story of The Tower Treasure: The Hardy Boys Book 1. Frank and Joe Hardy, brothers who are high school students, use their investigation skills to solve the mystery of the stolen treasure from the eccentric Applegates. After finally finding out who did it, the dying criminal confesses that the loot had been hidden “in the old tower.” The tower is searched in vain, but it remained for the Hardy boys to make an astonishing discovery that cleared up the mystery.

Awesome Book Awful Narrator

I love listening to audiobooks especially when taking long trips or just before bed, However, this narrator was horrible. His voice is very sharp and annoying as opposed to the soothing audio display I’ve become familiar with from Audible’s Audiobooks.
