But she's on a business trip, so Kendall finds himself temporary roomies with her super hot and equally kind live-in boyfriend. This is my first listen from Crystal Lacy and it won’t be the last. This story was an easy listen, the characters were likable and the plot was believable. And of course, Michael Ferriuolo is always easy on the ears. 😍
Overall, highly recommend.

Let me
Start by saying this collection id over 25 hours of content for the low price of 1 credit. It was so worth the listen too. I have not listened to many audiobooks narrated by Kieran Flitton, but I think he did a great job with the narration of the various stories.
Also, every story is a MM retelling of classic fairy tales. If you like a bit of historical romance and remakes of classic tales, this set is definitely for you.

Story
Brooks - I’ve been coming to this little café every weekday for the past month, and everyday the same guy, Noah, takes my order. He always flirts with me, talks to me, and makes me feel like a million bucks. The problem? He’s in his mid-twenties, which is a baby compared to my 45 years. The first time he winked at and flirted with me, I thought he was making fun of me. I may have cussed him out. Okay, I did. But just a little. But, to my surprise, he just laughed and told me I was cute when I was grumpy.

This was my first listen from both the author and the narrator and I really enjoyed this book. This is a low angst, insta love, May-December MM romance. I thought the characters were very believable and it was refreshing to see the younger MC take care of the older and pamper him even though the older MC was a millionaire. It made their relationship dynamic more believable. The original song at the end was lovely too.

I love a good daddy/boy romance and this one was pretty good. You can always rely on Susi Hawke for a well-written story and this one definitely fits that mold. And Michael Dean is great as always.

Story
Thomas Walsh knows the number-one rule in the film industry: Don't get involved with the talent. But resisting the urge to take the big screen to the bedroom can be hell when the lead actor on the set looks good enough to eat...one slow lick at a time. Peter Erickson's latest role as a gay man hits a little too close to home. He's still in the closet and secretly grieving the death of his lover. Then an enchanting production assistant catches his eye, and he's surprised by the instant attraction that stirs more than his wounded soul.

Sweet, May-December Romance
Reviewed: 06-20-21
This book is a sweet, low-angst romance. Thomas is a PA for a film company and Peter is a famous actor. Both are closeted gay men who are outed when an innocent photo of them sharing ice cream goes public. As a result, they are forced out of the closet. This novella does a good job of showing how good the relationship between Thomas and Peter is. And of course, I could listen to Michael Dean all day, every day. I’d recommend this story.

I found a little notebook, but it isn't the address book I was looking for. It's a...it's a journal. I kept a journal! I begin to read, and the first date goes back to less than three years ago - I read things that don't make sense. "I love him so much! I don't think I could've survived what I did to my mom if it wasn't for him. He is always there for me and thank God for that." I move a few pages down to a later date's entry and find more comments about a man. A man I supposedly love.

This book is a make/male romance.
I love the amnesia trope and couldn’t wait to listen to this audiobook. Scotland was so patient and his love for Mason shown in every action and reaction he had throughout the story. I do feel like it could have had more development as it went along. The story felt rushed in some ways but in the end, I enjoyed it.
JR Pyfferoen was a new narrator to me. Although he had an accent for Scotland and Natasha, it was never explained why, which felt like a miss to me.
Overall, I’ll give this a solid 4 stars.

Interesting omegaverse story
Reviewed: 06-06-21
I liked the premise of this story and how heats were auctioned off to the highest bidder. It’s not a storyline I’ve heard of before and I found it quite intriguing. Another interesting twist was that the older alpha MC, Heath, originally purchased Adrian’s heat because he was the long lost son of his former lover, Nathan. What started off as a walk down memory lane for Heath turned into a true love story with real feelings developing between Heath and Adrian as well as a new baby in the mix as well. Overall, I enjoyed this listen and Michael Dean was excellent as always.

This book is the 5th book in the Vanguard Towers series and follows Owen, who is a paramedic, and Howie, who is a psychiatrist. There is a. It of tension between Owen and Howie. They want each other, but Owen has real hang ups about “shrinks” and plays a bit of hot and cold. When they are on, they are so good together, and then Owen pulls back. What I love about these characters is that you can truly tell they love one another, and if you get past the issues, they’ll be great together.
The narrator did a good job with this one.
