Story
Cassie Andrews works in a New York City bookshop, shelving books, making coffee for customers, and living an unassuming, ordinary life. Until the day one of her favorite customers—a lonely yet charming old man—dies right in front of her. Cassie is devastated. She always loved his stories, and now she has nothing to remember him by. Nothing but the last book he was reading. But this is no ordinary book… It is the Book of Doors. Inscribed with enigmatic words and mysterious drawings, it promises Cassie that any door is every door. You just need to know how to open them.

Could not “put down”

This is an intriguing adventure from first word to last. There are a few surprises that fit nicely into the story line that kept me on my toes. This book had neverwhere vibes and I loved it. I will definitely be registering, ordering the physical copy and trying to convince everyone I know to do the same.

Story
This is a story about love. It's also a story about hate, which is why I left New York in the first place. You don't fly halfway across the world to live with a bunch of people you never met, just for a laugh.

So heartbreaking

A very easy book to read when it comes to length and language used but hard to read when it comes to details of war.

(My only complaint is that the narrator says “thum” instead of “them” but other than that it’s all wonderful
