What a fantastic story! Kim drops a " Juicy" tibit towards the end.
Reviewed: 02-27-25
Again Kim Sakwa has come out with another fantastic book. I enjoy reading but I love the audios more. The story is extremely enjoyable. No Erros from previous books. Minor characters are great on details. I get frustrated when authors dont screw up details.
Alot of the the older characters are back. The narrator does a good job on making them sound different without sound off. That has to be very difficult.
If I had to say something bad it would be some words I had no idea what they are. This is likely on me bec I am old! The new culture vocabulary just shows Kim can cross many generations in her book.
This story of Aidan & Brianna is making hard to have a #1 of all time. I cant wait for her next one. So as of now Kim is my favorite author.

Story
A sinister cabal of corrupt law enforcement personnel, intelligence agents, and military officials at the highest levels of government plotted to overthrow a president. Even after they failed, they continue to secretly pull the levers of power without any accountability to the American people. This isn’t the synopsis of a fictional spy thriller. This is what is actually happening in the United States government.

I always like Kash Patel. I found him on Kash's Corner. A incredibly smart man called for a duty he never dreamed of & maybe wish at times he didn't bother.
If you want the truth not only from eyewitness perspective he is your guy. Kash is given a task to complete he finishes the job. Not only with undeniable proof but with great efficiency.
This man could be president if he so chose. I personally hope he does so someday.
A man who loves hockey as much as I do, there we are mortal enemies & loves this country.
A guy who was apolitical until he couldn't be. This guy beat the odds regardless how the Biden/Harris Administration lied about his service & uncovered all the dirty secrets about DC. REMEMBER HE HAS PROOF. The DOJ made alot more stuff classified not bec he would endanger the men & women he worked with, he will tell you why. This attorney makes sure they only way to deny his investigations is to classify & lie. He never leaves a T un crossed or an i undoted.

Story
The Kennedy name has long been synonymous with wealth, power, glamor, and—above all else—integrity. But this carefully constructed veneer hides a dark truth: the pattern of Kennedy men physically and psychologically abusing women and girls, leaving a trail of ruin and death in each generation’s wake. Through decades of scandal after scandal—from sexual assaults to reputational slander, suicides to manslaughter—the family and their defenders have kept the Kennedy brand intact.

fantastic. Seriously questions should be asked of RKJR. Especially if he wants to be president. RKJR wonders why he isnt doing well in his age group in polling for president. It's because even a few people who are just a decade younger remember the horrible treatment of women of all the Kennedy men. Especially, those from Massachusetts. Many young women in Massachusetts wouldn't want to date much less marry a Kennedy. RKJR should be asked why he treated his dead wife so spiteful. Worse get a murder off on a technicality. Have those records unleashed to see if he helped a muder walk free. Then be judged by those who know the story of what he calls Camelot. He claims himself like American royalty. Sadly, he refused Megan Kelly to give his side. Which is why he had a 1 person debate. Which in my opinion spoke all the words he won't hear.

Enigmatic. With a wildly gifted mind, and an untamed head of hair to match, petite powerhouse Millicent Frost is brilliant when it comes to gadgets and electronics—less so with people. I totally like this book. However after Gideon's brother I thought we would get Lobo. I also wish she would finally tell us why Mordici was weird around Rachel. Is this the end? Because the 3 coyote sisters needs mates one or 2 of the wing breed. Does the wolf breeds ever get kids? There is just so much left out.

I don't remember if I bought this or it was a pluse. I only know I got less thank half way through it.
The bones of this book is really good. However, Maggie is a brat, irrational, immature & in this part of history a tragedy.
Maggie who is raised to be a Laird's wife with 6 brother's is vara lucky indeed. Especially with brothers who have wives & have no idea what a hand fasting. My biggest issue is she doesn't learn from her mistakes.
The 1st few times, I can understand. However, Maggie knew dam well she was wrong. Her development is way way off. I am very old fashioned & very traditional.
I raised my kids to understand everything you say & do has consequences. Good or bad. Right or wrong.
I honestly think I would have loved the book if Maggie grew up as she went along. I am now on chapter 28 I am struggling. I love listening to books while I cook & clean. It's Christmas baking & I find myself speeding the book up. I hate that. I am already not sure if I can fishing it.
Because of the economy, if I have a book that I don't remember but I listened a few books in a series I am going to finish them.
My FAVORITE book is The Prophecy. I have 3 credits & 3 paid pre ordered because I don't anything to snag me. I listen to Kim Sakwa's book at leat every other month. You hear how the main charactesr develops as you listen.
Again, I really wanted to love this book. Maggie just doesn't develop as well the the book does.

This book is different from the other 4. You need to find out. The Prophecy is the Golden book for me. If I must say there is something I don't like well it would be Stan voice. HOWEVER, it's a awesome book. I love these books so much I listen to them often. Shocking that I realized bing listening, I learned something new. That's saying something. My husband & I listened to then & I read one while he was in the hospital getting his heart rebuilt. Boy I wished Gwen was there. My point is we just listend to them In October & the 1st week of November. I have 3 credits because nothing is looking or sounding good enough to buy. So Ms. Kim get on with it. Its killing me. The next book I know is going to kick butt.

All I can really say is that the whole series was beyond STELLAR! It was every emotion you can feel. It is so completely sad that I have no words to express all it is
If you want a gripping, suspenseful, sad, happy & amazing love that will feel all that is going on. My biggest regret it that she left things undone.
I only wish this series would have finished with another 2 books. Something to let is know after all the emotion roller coasters this author takes you on that, I really wanted to know after all they went through everyone prosperity & family wasn't left off where she did.
