Great story with lots of intrigue and mystery, as well as a little bit of comedy in places. Loved it!

I love the book and the series! A perfect way to explain the events of Jesus to make his "mission" more meaningful.

Definitely a strange book! I kept waiting for it to end when, after listening for a couple hours, I just couldn’t wait anymore.

I think I have moved past D. Steele's books. I found this one boring, and hoping it would end soon. Wouldn't recommend it ~~

I may have liked this story better if I could get around the narrator. The narration was terrible! The attempts at voices was so poor, at times I just had to stop listening to go back to it later.
I won't get another book with this narrator and am not sure if I will from this author.

Karen Kingsbury has become my new "favorite listen"! This one had me laughing and crying and thanking God for the part he played in helping these people a fictional story! Strange, but true :-). I hope her stories continue to be as inspirational as those I have already read.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

It was a long story that kept me waiting for someone to change their perception of God and Jesus, but only 1 changed - on his deathbed.

Any additional comments?

The other Francine Rivers books I have purchased are pretty good! But this one has me questioning if I would waste another credit, or any more money, on any more of her books.
The narrator was good!

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend it cautiously, as compared to other books from this author.

Any additional comments?

This book didn't have me in that "can't wait to see what happens next" mode until the last third of the book. If I wasn't an avid Henderson fan, I probably would have left it and gone to another book. That being said, it didn't lessen my appreciation for this author.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I found it to be intriguing, but I guess I expected it to end with a more verbal statement than with the subtle " treat people better" unspoken message. It was an excellent platform that, in my opinion, could have been used to deliver the message loudly.

What other book might you compare Nineteen Minutes to and why?

Can't think of any at this time.

What does Carol Monda bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She was good -- I could easily identify the characters and the emotional element of what was being said.

Was Nineteen Minutes worth the listening time?

Yes -- although not my favorite Jodi Picoult book, I'm not sorry I purchased or listened to it.
