A caravan flying the flag of the Nation of Darkness has been attacked by a noble who hails from the Re-Estize Kingdom. Coincidence...or conspiracy? Either way, Nazarick interprets this as an act of brazen hostility and readies for war! The people of the kingdom, still reeling from the disastrous battle at Katze Plain, reluctantly prepare themselves for another bloody day.

The Sacred Kingdom has enjoyed a great many years without war thanks to a colossal wall constructed after a historic tragedy. They understand best how fragile peace can be. When the terrible demon Jaldabaoth takes to the field at the head of a united army of monstrous tribes, the Sacred Kingdom’s leaders know their defenses are not enough. After a bloody turn of events, Ainz has established the Nation of Darkness, aiming to create a utopia where people of all races can enjoy everlasting prosperity—as long they kneel before him. His first goal is to expand the Adventurers Guild to nurture new talent, a task that requires him to vacate his throne for a journey to the empire. At the same time, all of the neighboring rulers have started nervously discussing plans for resistance while watching everything unfold, because when the undying king of an immortal nation makes his first move, the whole world trembles!
