Story
After her near-fatal journey into the Descent, Ilea returns south to check on her allies and lay some groundwork for unlocking her elusive third Class. Trian is ready to start training the first generation of Medic Sentinels, the battle-healers of their newly founded organization, and Ilea is happy to join in as a teacher (of sorts). Hopefully, her work will pay off in the birth of at least a few mini-versions of herself.

Every new book adds to the depth of the story and world. the main charecter continues to grow and discover more secrets and power that only the dedicated (and insane) can hope to obtain. I look forward to future books and Liliths continues outrageous growth.

Great story!

The story does not mind getting very gritty with its characters and revenge. I also enjoy that Flum kinda takes a darker outlook on life after what she has been through. still overall a good person but with an edge to her decision making.

Story
With their Safe Zone overrun by the undead, taking refuge in the mountains seems like the safest bet for Rose, Tom, and the other survivors. There's one catch, however—between last spring's human exodus and a neighboring group's stockpiles, there's no food left to scavenge. They know to be wary of people and zombies, but a new adversary proves itself just as relentless—hunger. Supplies are slim in the wilderness, and living off the land is easier said than done. As winter sets in, and their food dwindles to nothing, they discover how far they'll go to save the ones they love.

Amazing story telling, charecter building and world. I was always kept in the right mixture of dreadful suspense and uplifting togetherness. im also not opposed to a book series following what Stephanie does next. jus sayin 🙂

Story
Whether romantic or platonic, changing relationships prove tricky for Rose, Tom, Clara, and Craig—never mind adapting to the new not-so-normal. Being surrounded by the undead is bad enough, but with a tyrant-in-training running their Safe Zone, it’s that much worse.

only. negative is the quality the narrator recorded. had a lot of static and audio seemed very mono. voice acting was fantastic, and impressions were great other than that. really, my only negative other than I want more, lol.
