Great book, I enjoyed it very much and my 17yr old daughter is currently listening and loving it too. good morals, values, can't think of any negatives. generally good for all ages, though above younger kids. so enjoyable I am trying to decide on my next listen by this author! performance good too- nothing noteworthy good or bad, you just get sucked into the story, which i think is the way it should be!

Story
Billy Graham was born on a dairy farm in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1918 just days after the signing of the armistice that ended World War I. At the age of 16, Graham came to Christ during a Christian revival meeting, and it wasn't long before he felt the call to preach. With the help of his wife, Ruth, and many other friends and colleagues, Billy Graham set out to preach to the world. The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association was founded, and since that day, Graham preached to more than 80 million people in more than 185 countries.

I enjoyed this very much. it's not the 1st book on Billy Graham I have read/listened to but was a great length and suitable for all ages... even young kids... Great for older kids in that it isn't just about a great evangelist but includes so much history. there was nothing to complain about here that I can think of.

this is supposed to be a kids/tween book, I believe, but mom here reviewing and I really enjoyed this book. it is Christian Fiction, so there was Bible woven in. there was a few things that might not be appropriate for younger listeners, depending on the youngster- but overall this was a great book for all ages. not just about girls and horses, the main character, yes, is a girl into horses, but the 3 secondary characters include girls and boys with lizards, dogs, cats...
just an overall likeable, enjoyable book for animal people. pay attention to the names- most of those are great fun!

mom here, sometimes I enjoy catching up on what my kids are into, and the puppy place books are just a sweet and enjoyable change up for me from time to time. haven't listened to any from this series in a while, so I thought I'd dive in and see what's changed... we'll, it's the same sweet family I enjoyed from the early books in the series. good messages, all ages friendly, nothing I can complain about. I had no idea this would be about a Pyrenees- just dumb luck i picked this one... but as a homestead family with currently 2 Great Pyrenees dogs, I was also little skeptical that either subject would be portrayed accurately, but this was surprising accurate on both accounts- the homesteaders and the dog! one small inaccuracy, though, Great Pyrenees really dont eat as much as people think. for their size, they eat on the low side, about the same as a Boxer would eat, and ours tend to be a tad picky- pretty much only meat scraps or they turn up their noses and they prefer to spread out their meals - as in nibble off and on, rather than just scarf up everything in 1 or 2 meals. but everything else is spot on, right down to Barkley laying at the top of the steps!lol!

It's Peretti's ultimate monster story. And this time, the monster is real. Miles away from the hectic city, Reed and Rebecca hike into the beautiful Northwestern woods. They're surrounded by gorgeous mountains, waterfalls, and hundreds of acres of unspoiled wilderness. But something - or someone - begins closing in on them. Something no human has ever seen. And it's killing everyone in its path without remorse.

I listened to this on a late night long drive to visit family quite a few years ago. i remember it did a great job keeping me awake! but I remembered liking it and so now that my kids are older (youngest is 14), we decided to listen to it together. still a great book, we all really enjoyed it! was not too much for them... I kind of feel like the best way to describe the age/scariness, etc is, if you can handle jurassic park, you can handle this.

a few from this series I like, the rest I downright enjoy. (this is mom reviewing) this is now one of my favorites from this series. it's so hard to truly pick a favorite, but this is definitely up there. so many aspects of this one make it unique to the others, but I think the thing I loved most about it was just how fun it was! I learned several unexpected things in this one and it just felt like a fun vacation all the way through. highly recommended.
