Story
It’s not stalking if he’s your hot neighbor…right? At least, that’s what I tell myself when Adrian Carter moves in next door. His scowl should make me want to run in the other direction, but when I catch him smothering a smile around me, it makes me want to get to know him more. And when Adrian starts to open up, I find myself falling in love with the cinnamon roll center hidden beneath his gruff exterior. But between my emotional baggage and his aversion to relationships, it’s looking like we’ll never be more than neighborly.

Wholesome Romance
Reviewed: 02-04-25
Sweet romance story with a few laugh out loud moments. Especially grateful for the Authors ability to entertain without foul language and explicit narrative added to the story :) that is a rare find on this platform. Narrated very well also.

Why is there so much profanity???
Reviewed: 09-09-24
I can over look basic profanity but not taking our Lord’s name in vain. It’s not necessary and disgusting. I didn’t expect this to be a consistent theme in a contemporary romance book. For that reason alone I do not recommend this book.

Unfortunately, i could not enjoy this audio version due to the narration of the FMC. Otherwise I think this could have been really good. Recommend to read the book instead. Have otherwise enjoyed the rest of the series. (MMC narrator was great . )

Story
Psychiatrist Dr. Gwen Moore is an expert on killers. She’s spent a decade treating California’s most depraved predators and unlocking their motives - predators much like the notorious Bloody Heart serial killer, whose latest teenage victim escaped and then identified local high school teacher Randall Thompson as his captor. The case against Thompson as the Bloody Heart Killer is damning - and closed, as far as Gwen and the media are concerned. If not for one new development.

Loved everything about this book. Narrator was also great! I’d love to see a sequel to this story. I could also see this being a television series. Maybe I’m just sad it’s over already since I couldn’t put it down and listened to the entire book in one day.

Story
The quintessential question asked to every couple. And the answer is usually some bubbly, lovey dovey tale of being struck in the bum by Cupid’s arrow. My meet cute (well, not so meet cute) is slightly different. I was trolling a wealthy neighborhood in Beverly Hills, searching for someone to take me as their bride, you know, to make my arch nemesis jealous who consequently just fired me.

Shallow story, excellent narration 😐
Reviewed: 06-03-24
I realize this is fiction but I think I was fooled by the complementary reviews. Too many expletives and penthouse forum level spice. If you FF past the spicy parts you’ll eliminate a large portion of the book. If that’s your cup of tea then this book is for you. I found it overall very juvenile and skipped past the last few chapters to the epilogue because I couldn’t take it anymore. Narrators were excellent and the only good thing about the book.

Story
Vera Gallagher is chasing constant. For four years, her life was anything but normal. And the years before that she refuses to even remember. Dwelling on the past only hurts. Life is fragile, a lesson her mother taught her well. She’s determined not to waste a moment of her newfound freedom. Maybe some would consider her crush on Mateo Eden wasted time. Maybe some would call her a fool for loving a man who hasn’t once dropped a crumb of interest her way. Still, to Vera, it’s Mateo or nothing.

Love the family dynamics. Would personally prefer less details on the spicy parts. That aside, all 6 books had great stories. The first 2 books were the best in my opinion.

Story
Ford: I don't have time for distractions. I have a billion-dollar company to run. A father to grieve. A legacy to fulfill. Harley DeLuca is not my type. She's snarky. She's stubborn. And she's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen-even in her ridiculous grungy tennis shoes. I can't get enough of her. Harley: I was a mistake from the moment of conception. The sins of my mother have followed me like a nightmare in a horror flick.
