Story
There is nothing more essential to our health and well-being than breathing. Yet, as a species, humans have lost the ability to breathe correctly, with grave consequences. Journalist James Nestor travels the world to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. The answers aren’t found in pulmonology labs, as we might expect, but in the muddy digs of ancient burial sites, secret Soviet facilities, New Jersey choir schools, and the smoggy streets of São Paulo. Nestor tracks down men and women exploring the hidden science behind ancient breathing practices.

A Great Book - Informative and interesting
Reviewed: 05-19-22
I really enjoyed this work by James Nestor. I recommend this book to anyone whenever a relevant topic of conversation comes up. You'll learn a lot, even if already familiar with the respiratory system. Great information, good narrative, not much more you can ask for.

DO NOT BUY!! 200+ books in my library this is the only one I’ve returned.

This is by far a joke of an audiobook. Anyone who rated this above 1 star I’d assume suffer of mental deficiencies.
Then entire audiobook repeats its self. Literally the same chapter repeat 5 plus times. This is about 30 minutes of unique context. The other 3.5 hours is the same shit repeated over and over, some information more than 5 times.
Save yourself the trouble, this is by far the worst work on NLP.

Good content - written in 1910

Good content, very dated and no actual mention of any scientifically validated research. For that reason I give this one star, otherwise spot on having come from 1910

I've consumed a lot of information on this topic in addition to ICF coach training and still found this book very informative. The authors do a great job in showing the origins of coaching. How various disciplines contributed to coaching along with studies which contributed to our current understanding.

I loved the information within this work. It was presented very well and delivered directly without any fluff. I gave the story 4 stars due to the fact the information was so direct I found myself having to rewind a lot to make sure I was taking the correct interpretation.

I purchased this book based off ratings. I didn’t find this book to be a 5 star book, I was looking for something more similar to - the power of body language by Joe Navarro.
Anyone looking for a book on body language - the power of body language does a better job in covering the entire body and what certain gestures suggest.

This book had great information however I rated it 4 out of 5 due to my lack of understanding of how this process relates to NLP. I’m knowledgeable in consumer behavior and cognitive processes which take place during a sale. However, I was looking for a better understand of how NLP can be tied in to performance.

The bestselling fitness book for men who want to gain 25-35 pounds of lean muscle and lose as much fat or more in just 3-5 hours per week—and without giving up delicious foods or doing grueling workouts. Is Bigger Leaner Stronger a body building book that can help you pack on brain-shrinking amounts of muscle in 30 days flat? No. Is it a fitness nutrition book full of dubious diet and exercise “hacks” and “shortcuts” for melting belly fat faster than a roided hornet? Absolutely not.

Don't sign up for this (2-5 spam emails a day)
Reviewed: 06-02-17
This book was great, however after reading it I've been receiving wait lose emails 2/4 times a day. I'm confident in saying this guys book was the culprit because the email associated is newer and hasn't been entered anywhere. Save your self the frustration of spam and buy the paperback. I don't support any brand selling off their email list to marketers.
