I've red a few books about breathing, including The Oxygen Advantage, and this is my favourite of the lot. It doesn't go around in circles or spends hours telling you about stories from random people. I found all the information well explained and very relevant to the subject.

Yes, the breathing techniques are just the final half hour of the book, but I enjoyed every bit of it.

It shows a refreshing view on an old subject and practice...great research... The last part with live excersices is useful and clear. It would be useful for Audible customers a PDF complement, with notes, research links, breathing systems, etc.

In spite of my skepticism at the beginning Breath is a brilliant book. Quite helpful for energy, relaxation, & controlling stress. I’m really grateful for the recommendation of health conscious family to read it even though initially resistant since trained to be suspicious as a medical professional. The cynical reviewers who who summed the book up in 3 lines almost turned me off to reading Breath but glad that I pushed ahead. Turns out they missed the point.
The downside of the audiobook is needing to write down the various breathing exercises at the end of the book.
