In June 2021, the whole world was listening as Britney Spears spoke in open court. The impact of sharing her voice—her truth—was undeniable, and it changed the course of her life and the lives of countless others. The Woman in Me reveals for the first time her incredible journey—and the strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history. Written with remarkable candor and humor, Spears’s groundbreaking book illuminates the enduring power of music and love—and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms, at last.

And she's connected so deeply with my spitfire of a daughter, she has me thinking I've found my match. I'm usually the one who tames the wild things around here. Entertaining Short Story!
Reviewed: 08-13-18
Short sexy book with a hunky dad who supports his daughter and a beautiful woman. Sparks fly early in the book and the authors do a great job on the sex scenes. Well told story that gets pretty hot early on and continues throughout the book. The narrators, Ruby and La Petite, do a great job. The story is believeable and interesting. I look forward to more stories from the authors.

My whole life has been about waiting. Playing it safe. Be the good girl, don't color outside the lines. Put in the hard work trying to prove myself to Dad, then to my college professors, then to my boss at New World Media. Just waiting for the day when it will all pay off. And right when it was all starting to - I finally had the house, the job, I was even thinking about getting a cat-boom! - my life explodes and suddenly now I'm here and - "All done," the doctor interrupts my thoughts, pulling off her gloves with a loud snap.

This book was a pleasant surprise. The narrator does a excellent job! The story line is different. We have a young lady who makes a bargain to save her dad and then we have a happy ending! Some may be offended by the content and how the female sex is treated but the book ends with the happy ever after. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Story
Two hotheaded Highlanders, the offspring of feuding lairds, are tricked by the King's Regent into a desperate choice: marry or die. Bhaic MacPherson is more disposed to lead his clan into battle than stay married to the daughter of his enemy. But perhaps the intensity of his feelings has more to do with desire than hostility. Ailis Robertson wanted a husband, not a savage - but when her family was faced with a deadly ultimatum, she had no choice.

Not hot and steamy!
Reviewed: 10-25-17
Reading a review that said hot and steamy is why I bought the book! Definitely a huge disappointment there. Don’t purchase if you want hot and steamy. This book doesn’t even come close to hot and steamy. You cant beat Ferguson as a narrator though. I love the highlander books but I will return this one. This is one of the poorest reviews I have gave in a long time.

Where does Steve Jobs rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is not my type of book but i was encouraged to purchase the book by a friend and I do not regret it. The writing is great, the story is absolutely wonderful!! I will definitely read it a second time or third! The book was interesting, packed so full of information from the beginnings of Steve Job to the end. When I purchased the book, I could not imagine it holding my interest for 25 hours, but it certainly did. Great job by the author and the narrator. This book is well worth the credit. I'm a romance type reader so this is totally out of my preferred genre an was one of the best books I have listened too.

Story
Zachary has a dilemma. His girlfriend, Reese, has a special birthday coming up soon and he has absolutely no clue what to get for her. It doesn't help that Zach does not share or really understand Reese's biggest hobby - comic books, superheroes, and everything that goes with them. Zach raids Reese's DVD collection for inspiration, and what he finds there gives him an idea...possibly the best one he's ever had.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, its a good book. Its not quite what I expected. It was hard to imagine a pg vixen wanting a ménage but it turned out to be a good book with a happy ending. It follows the line of other Springer books so expect hot sex!! Another good book. I would definitely recommend.

What did you love best about Legally Undead?
I'm very excited about this new series! I love this type of book. It kind follows the same line as most books along this line but its a great book and a great start to a new series. Its interesting, I read it in me sitting. I will definitely be reading other books in the series as they come out. Great job Margo Collins. Laurel Schroeder did a good job. There's a few places where lines are repeated but its not distracting.
