Here is a character who meets challenges and surmounts changes in her life. It is a roller coaster of an emotional ride with Mara. She reminds me of my big sister Karine.

The story can sometimes be a little dark, but it is also quite captivating. Tim Curry is amazing in his performance.

Story
When Sylvester, the Duke of Salford, first meets Phoebe Marlow, he finds her dull and insipid. She finds him insufferably arrogant. But when a series of unforeseen events leads them to be stranded together in a lonely country inn, they are both forced to reassess their hastily formed opinions, and begin a new-found liking and respect for each other.

Any additional comments?
I love Georgette Heyer and was captivated by Richard Armitage's reading, but I was quite disappointed in the abridgement of the story. Some of the very funniest parts were taken out! Like the first time she scolds him and the Button and the tassels... And the worst part was that I knew Armitage would have been amazing in the narration of it! Please, give us the unabridged version!!
