Story
Take a moment to look over your books about investing. Have any of them given you a successful method for making profits and reducing risks? Is there even one such book that has proven reliable over the years? Alas, most investors would say no. That's because so few investment books are classic in the true sense: For years investors keep buying the book, and they keep using the method to make the most of their opportunities.

Should not be audible
- By Andres Jaramillo on 10-28-17
Content not good for audio book.
Reviewed: 08-20-15
I don't think this makes a good audio book. The subject matter is very complex and discusses reviewing charts, etc. Seems it would make a much better book where you can actually see and review the charts. I couldn't listen to the entire book.

This book leaves much to be desired. The author doesn't explain when to sell, except referring to a "reset". He doesn't explain to sell at a 50% profit, or at 52-week high, etc. Also, he never quite explains where to get the numbers or exactly how to make the calculations. Perhaps the printed book provides a little more, but the audio was disappointing.

Not very Interesting

I enjoyed my first Michael Pollan book, but this one was much less interesting. Basically, a collection of essays on gardening, not just vegetable gardening, all types of gardening.

Story
Thomas Jefferson was an avid book-collector, a voracious reader, and a gifted writer - a man who prided himself on his knowledge of classical and modern languages and whose marginal annotations include quotations from Euripides, Herodotus, and Milton. And yet there has never been a literary life of our most literary president.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Someone who might want to know what books Thomas Jefferson might have read.
What could Kevin J. Hayes have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
I would like to have known more about what Thomas Jefferson's life was about on his way to building Monticello, not what books he might have read.
What about David Baker’s performance did you like?
He has a nice voice and good diction.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Boredom.
Any additional comments?
This book was just so boring. I wanted to fast forward through most of it.

Story
From Salatin's point of view, life in the 21st century just ain't normal. In Folks, This Ain't Normal, he discusses how far removed we are from the simple, sustainable joy that comes from living close to the land and the people we love. Salatin has many thoughts on what normal is and shares practical and philosophical ideas for changing our lives in small ways that have big impact. Salatin urges people to take a better look at their food: What's in it, where is it coming from, and how did it get the table?
