Story
Slaying undead is an endless task, but one Hunter Haeight has aspired to all her life. She joins Noelictus' Hunter's Guild and works her way up the ranks, slaying zombies, skeletons, and ghouls with dedication and zeal. However, there is a rot within the Kingdom of Shade, and Haeight's aspirations turn into doubts as she finds a web of conspiracies in the capital, Menorome. The Hunters there are off—something is afoot. It is a bewildering, overwhelming place for new Hunters, as well as the fourth Princess of Calanfer, Seraphel du Marquin, who has arrived for her marriage, unhappy and alone.

Andrea Parsneau is always an amazing reader and I liked this even better than the first book in the gravesinger series. I can’t wait for the third book and see how it ties in with future Pirate Aba books featuring the witch of webs & THE necromamcer & how their stories connect.

Story
All the world's a stage...even when you're teleported to a new world. Struggling actress Cara O'Sullivan was walking down the street of Galway one moment, and the next, she was in an ancient tomb in a faraway world. Alone in the dark with her cell phone as her last tenuous connection to home, Cara sings her favorite song. To her astonishment, her song casts a spell of light into the world...and from the depths, something hears her. Challenged by a ghostly knight, a tragic necromancer, and hordes of undead, can a young woman who does not believe in heroes become one herself?

Another great book leading us to Terandrea. Not sure of that spelling since I only do the audiobook.

It was hard to get through the beginning of this because Cara seemed less freaked out from being in another world than she was about being the hero and all the people against the nobility stuff. Some of the whininess got to me, but overall it’s another great book by Pirate Aba. Excellent performance always by Andrea Parsneau.

They've survived, and they've leveled, but new levels also bring new problems. Izril is still facing turmoil as nobles fight and squabble while Liscor breathes again and heals, trying to find a new way forward. The best cure for dark days? Games! And none know it better than the oldest adventurers, who've lived through countless struggles.

I am so glad there was nothing devastating in this book. The last book was very difficult to get thru & stressful with lots of tears shed by me & in the beginning of this book I cried as well. Pirate Aba’s story & Andrea Parsineau’s narration are always a powerful combo. The characters are fabulous & the social messages are powerful. I love this series more than any other I’ve read or listened to in many years.

A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

I had hoped that this would be a really interesting and funny book. It does have funny moments, but it is so similar to some other books that involve gaming that are so much better written, and better narrated than this that I just listen to it because I was abjectly bored. Donut is the only decent character.

As the crises in the heart of the kingdom grows, Minalan is tasked to force the so-called Witch Queen of Darkfaller from her new stronghold using any means necessary. Story
Of course, if there were only one thing under Liscor, there would be far less to fear. However, the dungeon continues to be a threat. At the same time, Goblins continue to roam northern Izril, but not all of them are as hostile to people as Tremborag or the Goblin Lord. Will the Unseen Emperor of Riverfarm make that distinction, however? A reckoning is coming as old faces and new reemerge. And all the while, The Wandering Inn is still serving food and respite and even plays to adventurers and Antinium alike. But something is coming from the dungeons. And it—they—are hungry.

Dear god. Please don’t let Janet write any more! I started reading these before audible during a bad period in my life. They were ‘novel’ then. Funny & engaging. I laughed till tears rolled down my face. Then they got repetitive & blah. I had extra credits & I thought I’d see if anything had changed. Mediocre writing. Same story barely different characters & how are Rex & Bob still alive??? Then take a mediocre reader on top of the writing. I have listened to hundreds of audiobooks and this is perhaps the worst. In fact I’m going to see if I can get my money back. The only reason I got through it at all is because I’m quarantining for five days.
