Very repetitive

Part of me wanted to count the number of times he said "the one thing" in the book but I kept dozing off. The premise is basic - figure out what is important, break it down into manageable pieces and stay focused on it. Use this for work and personal life.
There were interesting things I learned such as it takes 66 days to form a habit. Overall, I would have liked the book more if it were shorter.

Neither side has gained an advantage, and the threat of a betrayal by Dalinar’s crafty ally Taravangian looms over every strategic move. Now, as new technological discoveries by Navani Kholin’s scholars begin to change the face of the war, the enemy prepares a bold and dangerous operation. I love this book series but in some places the story dragged on a bit. For example, it took awhile for Sha-lan to come to terms with what she did as child. Caledan's emotional issues also dragged on a bit. Plus, I did not get a PDF with my book download, However, I always get amerced in the story and the characters. They start become real to me. I love all of Mr. Sanderson's books and story telling .

I love the series and book 5 lives up to the series. You can get very involved with the characters. I like how female characters lead the various plotlines even though the main character is male. I like how concerned everyone is for the welfare of a dog. A dog is man's best even in an apocalypse!

Story
Zachary Quinto - best known for his role as the Nimoy-approved Spock in the recent Star Trek reboot and the menacing, power-stealing serial killer, Sylar, in Heroes - brings his well-earned sci-fi credentials and simmering intensity to this audio-exclusive novella from master storyteller John Scalzi. One day, not long from now, it becomes almost impossible to murder anyone - 999 times out of a thousand, anyone who is intentionally killed comes back. How? We don't know.

I love these fairy tale style stories. I would have given the story 4 stars but some portions dragged on and I had to speed it up especially when they go to council and basically retold all details of the events which we just read two chapters before - could have just summarized. Readers figured out what happed long before the characters did. I'll go to the second book and see how that moves along. Performance was very good by all three.
