Publisher's summary

The New York Times and USA Today best-selling series.

Humanity has finally found a new home, but the price is blood....

After a long, perilous journey, Hell Divers Xavier Rodriguez and Magnolia Katib discover the Metal Islands, a sunny, habitable zone where thousands of people live by fishing and farming. But this "paradise" is really a violent warrior society ruled by the cannibal King el Pulpo. For the first time in X's life, he is forced to lay down his arms and surrender.

Back on the airships, the Hell Divers are recovering from a gruesome discovery at Red Sphere, where they learned the truth about World War III. Now, they must fight another war - this time for what remains of their own endangered species. As the battle approaches, alliances will be forged and others broken.

Forced to fight in the Cazador army, X faces his toughest mission yet. Will he help his people come down from the sky and claim the promised land, or will humanity go extinct?

The war is on!

The battle for a new home on the Earth’s surface has begun and the occupants of the airships Hive and Deliverance are about to come face-to-face with the cannibal psychopath known as El Pulpo, and his minions. All hell breaks loose in this 5th installment of the fantastic Hell Divers series. Unexpected plot twists mixed with superb writing make this suspenseful story one of the best in the series. As always, R.C. Bray "nails it" with his fantastic narrating skills. No spoilers here but you WILL be blown away by the climactic ending.

We Dive So Humanity Survives.

This series is a literary masterpiece. This is sci-fi at it’s very finest. I discovered this in late May 2019. I’m already waiting on book six. I marathoned this series. Bought credits, lost sleep, became antisocial for about a week...and I’d do it again. Start with book 1...you won’t regret it. Sci-fi fan or not. Take a dive.

I was very hesitant to read this book because I didn’t want X to go through more ordeals.

And he does! But this is a must read book for fans of this series. I became very invested in the X character and his dog Miles. Wonderful character development.

Another great addition to series

Overall the story keeps you hooked from beginning to end! My only complaint is that the story was a bit short- but again it’s worth the read. Hopefully it’s not the end of the hell divers series.

Dive Into Excellence

I absolutely couldn't stop listening. I felt compelled to listen on and I was drawn into the look from the beginning. Best out of the series so far. This is a excellent book that I can see myself listening to over and over again. If your reading this, you MUST read or listen to this book. You won't be disappointed. But don't start here! Work your way up from the exciting beginning to the emotional ending.

Another Five Star book in a Five Star Series!

Book Five in the Hell Divers series does not disappoint! Heart pounding action, as a rescue mounts. I screamed in anguish. I cheered triumphantly! Tears rolled down my cheek as I recovered from fear. The characters become real, and have over the entire series. You feel their emotions. You can even feel the tension in Miles, X's dog as he's held in captivity too. But there is hope in this book, of a different future for them all. There are not many books or authors that can keep you turning pages like Nicholas Sansbury Smith. Already pre-ordered book Six!
