Story
It's Ruwen’s Ascension Day, and he finally dies for the first time. His newly revived body can learn spells and abilities for the class given him by the Goddess Uru, and dying is no longer permanent. Ruwen’s high intelligence makes becoming a Mage inevitable. With his new powers, he will locate his parents and clear their family name. But nothing goes as Ruwen imagined, and when a rival God tries to kill Ruwen shortly after his disastrous Ascension, his focus turns from his future to just surviving.

The best book series I've ever read! Listen to the first 15 minutes and you'll be hooked!
Reviewed: 03-07-24
I have read a lot of Book series, of many different genres, and this is the best one by far!!
The plot is well written and the story progression is perfectly timed. Other stories try to put the characters in the game but in this story the gaming attributes are a part of their life. It's a world you desire to be in and the characters are people you can relate to.
I started reading book one, and mentioned it to my family that they may be interested. They had read and listened to books before but not as often as I had because they hand't found a book worthy their time. After finishing book 3, I played the first 15 minutes for my Husband and he was hooked!!! We then listened to the first two together, which was even more enjoyable listening for a second time. Then finished the series separately.
So I did the same with my Children, playing them just the first 15 minutes and again they were hooked!! My eldest son finished the whole series in one week!

Captivating!

Omg, I couldn't stop listening! I even thought about it when I wasn't listening.
The book kept me on my seat! The performance had a wonderful distinction between each character; I could picture it like a movie.
I would definitely recommend this; I have already.

Story
The 26th century. Once considered clandestine, the Spartan-II program has now gone public. Tales of armored supersoldiers fending off thousands of Covenant attacks have become the stuff of legend. While the Master Chief defends a besieged Earth and the myriad factions of the Covenant continue their crusade to eliminate humanity, an ultra-secret cell of the Office of Naval Intelligence known as “Section Three” devises a plan to buy the UNSC vital time. It will need hundreds of willing soldiers, though - and one more Spartan - to get the job done.
