Loved the book

The book was great and the audio just as good. There was some trouble with the sound. It would fade in and out, especially in the beginning of the book. Otherwise perfect.

Story
Anna does boring things for terrible people because even criminals need office help and she needs a job. Working for a monster lurking beneath the surface of the world isn’t glamorous. But is it really worse than working for an oil conglomerate or an insurance company? In this economy? A sharp, witty, modern debut, Hench explores the individual cost of justice through a fascinating mix of millennial office politics, heroism measured through data science, body horror, and a profound misunderstanding of quantum mechanics.

Story
Three months ago, I landed a job as a bartender. But not at a bar-at a guild. Yeah, the magic kind. I'm not a badass mage like my three smokin' hot best friends. I'm not a sorcerer or an alchemist, or even a wussy witch. I'm just a human, slinging drinks like a pro and keeping my non-magical nose out of mythic business. Seriously, I know my limits. So why am I currently standing in a black-magic ritual circle across from a fae lord? Somewhere behind me, my three mage friends are battling for their lives.

Sleeping stories
Reviewed: 01-13-21
The narrator is very good with a pleasing voice, but I did not like the stories. It was like a toddlers book that was a novel shortened to fit in 10 pages. A brief set up or explanation and then short dialogue from the tv show to reinforce what the narrator had just said. How ever great to fall a sleep to

Wow, great book and narrator
Reviewed: 10-08-20
Oh my gosh! Kevin Bacon is a great narrator. He has
a good voice for the different characters and did a fantastic job of building the suspense without sounding hysterical.
The story was great. At first I thought the ending was going to be predictable, but I was pleased as the story continued past my prediction ending. Well done everyone!

Priceless, book one: "My name is Rylee, and I am a Tracker." When children go missing and the Humans have no leads, I'm the one they call. I am their last hope in bringing home the lost ones. I salvage what they cannot. I'm on the FBI's wanted list. I have a werewolf for a pet, a Witch of a best friend, and no need for anyone else in my life. But when a salvage starts to spin out of control, help comes from a most unexpected direction.

Great story, narration unsure, sex over fun
Reviewed: 08-09-20
I enjoyed the three stories. It was fresh and original. Personally I would get rid of the lusty sex scenes. I don’t think they add to the story or any character development. I’m also unsure about the narration. The voice actor does a great job, but I’m not sure her voice is old enough to play this character. I just had trouble believing it

But what seemed like a straight-forward job turns into a massacre as the crate is stolen.
