Story
A covert group is infiltrating the world’s most secure bio-weapons research sites. All across the country, people are acting as human ‘disease bombs’ by infecting themselves and walking into public places. And heavily armed groups of illegal private soldiers are massing for some unknown strike. Joe Ledger and the members of Rogue Team International, still reeling from the devastation and heartbreaking losses of their last mission, are forced into relentless action to try and save the country, if not the entire world.

Reviewed: 04-05-25
I've always loved Jonathan Maberry and the Joe Ledger series but when Maberry made anyone who wasn't democrat seem like a racist pos he lost me. Not everyone who is a republican is an idiotic redneck. Just because I believe in God,country, and family doesn't mean I'm some ignorant racist. I loved the story but I'm very disappointed in Maberry. He might have lost a large following after this one.

Reviewed: 09-29-24
This whole series would make an awesome movie movie series. As far as this book goes i love it but like my ttitle says My over active brain comes back to one point or thought....Is Alpha Carl's voice the dude from Ted that likes getting beat up? Anyways my wife on a nightly basis gets mad at me because I can't control my body tensing or giggels when it comes to this series. I am very loyal to the nanarrators and authors I like but I took a chance with this series and I have completed up to this book 4 times. Once the new book comes out I will probably relisten a few more times. All in all these books are a go too for fun times.

All I can say is Carl is what every man has been or wanted to be at some point in their life. Every character in these books make me smile because of how screwed up they are. I just drive 10 hours from Nashville to southeast Georgia and never stopped this book. I even caught my wife laughing her ass of at this book when I thought she was sleeping. All in all I think that most of us listen to books like this to get away from the same old crap that is every day life. Any person willing to give this series a chance, and has any type of weird humor, will enjoy it. I'm not good at writing responses or reviews but I had to try with this one. If for some reason we ever meet and you have listen to this series or even if you haven't I will gladly talk your head off about this escape from reality that makes you thankful for your reality

I literally love the Joe Ledger series and would give this a 5 out of 5 but as soon as you went political with the Top Sims story you lost me. I listen to books to get away from this messed up world so I might be able to imagine a place where it is literally good vs evil but now I can't listen to anything without authors pushing their political views on me. If I want to listen to political podcasts I will but please don't make me pay just to listen to your views on how the world "truly" is.

I'm glad I didn't listen to the main reviews
Reviewed: 05-20-23
I saw reviews of how confusing this book was but it all boils down to critical thinking with a little bit of imagination. Every person wonders what if. What if I turned right instead of left? What if I married my highschool sweetheart? What if I went to science camp instead of baseball camp? Give this book a chance. While it's nothing like the first book it does tie in to the first book if you let your mind wander from 2+2=4. What if 2+2 =infinite. Just saying these reviews are in no way a representation of this book or its narrator.
