Story
Addax al-Kort was not born in England. As the heir to the throne of a defunct distant kingdom (near present day Pakistan), Addax came to England with a trade caravan when he was very young. He became a page for a powerful knight and worked his way through the ranks and protocols of Medieval England to become a full-fledged English knight serving William Marshal. Addax is part of the brotherhood of Executioner Knights serving the Marshal, but he has a great talent for the tournament circuit. Competing under a standard emblazoned with black dragon, he becomes quite rich.

As always I love the books Kathryn LeVeque writes. She really knows how to make her characters come alive and always makes you feel part of the story. When I finish one book I quickly get ready to start another.

Story
Surely, no two people in this history of the world have ever made more miserable traveling companions. And that is the start of an unexpected—but eye-opening—revelation for Myles when it comes to the bookish, brilliant Veronica. Join the star-crossed couple on a journey for the ages, where the understanding of friendship and love is something both of them must learn from one another, where loyalty and honor mean more than lust and instant gratification, and where the growth of true and deep love is something that comes from the very soul.

Story
Morgan de Wolfe, cousin to Edward de Wolfe, earl of Wolverhampton (and father of William de Wolfe of The Wolfe), finds himself the perfect man for an Executioner Knight’s job. Assuming the identity of a dead man, he makes his way to the Welsh border to infiltrate his way into a castle stolen by a Marshal enemy. His task is to use the dead man’s identity to reclaim the castle. What he didn’t count on was a woman who could quite possibly ruin his mission. And possible even his life.

Story
Walk. Scavenge. Destroy. Trade. A simple cycle that's suited Ronin for 185 years. With no clear grasp of his programming, the barren wasteland known as The Dust offers him purpose, a place where his armored undercasing, amped-up processors, and advanced optics can be put to use. The ramshackle towns on the edges of the waste serve merely as resupply stations between increasingly long treks. But one night - one human woman - makes him question everything.
