Story
The sun has wiped out nearly all technology in the largest coronal mass ejection in history. In its wake comes the zombie apocalypse. The dead have risen, and they are hungry. Yet there are greater threats than the walking dead. The deathless have returned, slumbering in the same Arks that carried the werewolves into the present. If they are not stopped they will build a massive necropolis in the remains of San Francisco, and the entire continent will pay the price. Only the few werewolves created before the apocalypse stand between humanity and annihilation.

Hell Its better. I realy loved this book. Its exciting from beginning too the end. Only bad side is i wanted too hit Blair a few times for his stupidity with women. The POW switches from each chapter which is Usualy a dealbreaker for me but Chris does a Great Job. Most of the plots get resolved by the end but he's laid down more plots for book 3 which is coming out October 2015. So im eagerly waiting for Its release.

It kept me laughing or smiling almost the entire book. I love this author and her ability too make me happy one moment and almost crying the next. Usualy if an author switch protagonist mid series i quit it altogether, But i loved Krys, Mari and Kaya. So if you liked any of her other books this one is worth the money. I think the sequel to this book Will focus on the two young earth and life mages (forgot their name) but the series have dropped hints about it So i cant wait.

Even better than the first book!
Reviewed: 12-30-14
Who was your favorite character and why?
James. I liked him even better than the main protagonist from the first book. He does make an appearance here, but he is far from essential too this story.
Which scene was your favorite?
When james saved his classmates mother on her home planet (I forgot her name)
Any additional comments?
This is overall much better then the first book, and I'd give that 4/5 stars. The story is better and the characters are a bit easier too relate to. If you liked the first book, you should definitely give this one a try.

If you could sum up Blood Passage in three words, what would they be?
Funny, exciting and sad --> ending.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Blood Passage?
The ones that stick closes too my mind is how unfairly she is treated by the vampire council which pisses me off no end. Which the ending will defenately indicate.
What about Traci Odom’s performance did you like?
She is one my top 3 of favourite female narrators. so 5/5 excellent job!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yeah i got it all in one go, I was working overtime so I was listening almost nonstop from 06.30 til 19.00 whit some pauses in between.
Any additional comments?
This is a great series, and I know there are many more books that are already published so we hopefuly doesnt have too wait that long until the next one is available as Audiobook. Tough the ending truly disturbed me so they better hurry i wan't too know how its resolved Asap!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes I definately would. Its funny and exciting. Its very fast paced, it kinda goes from action, too detective work and then some more action.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Dead Heat?
There were quite a few, but the one that stuck whit me (and almost made me give 4.5 instead of 5 stars) Is the fact that Taz keept denying her Shapeshifter nature. At no point in this book does she come too terms whit it. She does make strides towards acceptance but doesn't quite reach it. Tough it is explained and understandable, but it almost got me depressed. Which is a compliment too the author i suppose =)
What about Suzanne Freeman’s performance did you like?
She was excellent. One of the best female narrators I've heard. 5/5 for sure.
Any additional comments?
Its a great Urban Fantasy book tough it isn't quite like many others i've read. While this genre seem too be 9/10 books whit female characters the only other series that could match / best this one would have too be Kate Daniels. Tough it would be a close one. However I will be looking forward too the sequel. My research indicates there are atleast 2 more books that is already out, tough not made into Audiobooks yet.

Aodhan clutched uselessly at his head, groaning. He knew it was useless, because the voice was not inside his head. It followed him, skimming across buildings and land. It had followed him since he was sixteen, and it still followed him today, like a memory too horrific to be forgotten… Aodhan is a shadow-demon, hardened and cold after years of being alone, after his love, his Entwined, was cruelly taken away from him.

Any additional comments?
Its worth getting. It is funny and the concept is rather unique. Especialy liked how Demons weren't something inherently evil and didn't come from hell, but rather occationaly from human beings.

After testing humans on their future home world of Koban and finding them worthy opponents, the Krall start a war of slow extermination with the rest of humanity. The war is intended to last generations as they apply their own version of "natural selection" to cull their weaker warriors in combat, purifying the Krall gene pool with their finest warriors for breeding.

Would you consider the audio edition of Koban to be better than the print version?
I didn't read it I just listened. Tough i generaly prefer the Audiobook versions so i can listen while im doing errands at home or at work.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Koban?
When Carson? (I forget the names) fought the duel against a krall. But that is just one of many.
Have you listened to any of Eric Michael Summerer’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
None that comes too mind. However he is an excellent narrator, I have no complaints whatsoever.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed out loud several times. And at occasions i got quite anxious / nervous about what was about too happen.
Any additional comments?
For some reasons I didn't get very attached too the characters, but nonetheless i loved the story. Which is wierd for me, because i usualy "Bond" too the main character and absolutely hate when the narrative is switched about. However Bennett made it so it was a story I wasnt seeing trough the main characters side but rather like i was standing at the sidelines and thus while loving the story and not the characters i didnt mind all the switching about and was looking forward too what happened next. This is absolutely new for me. I would have given it a 4.5 / 5 stars.
I am anxiously awaiting the next book.
