I’ve read the ego is the enemy and it’s very good, that’s why I’ve reached this book! But as if adding stories from philosophy books together with some ideas about each one…
Conclusion: if you already know that the obstacle is the way and you experienced it in your life, then you don’t need this book! If not then it’s okay!

All history books of humans combined in one place (but only according to the main narrative) what is not know is still not known
Reviewed: 01-25-23
Tap into the history of all humanity according to all books combined! It’s like combining all books of recorded history in the modern era.
I liked the stories and how the author was keen to make sure you understand each section!
What I didn’t like is that théories like evolution are considered the only perspective and fact and everything is built upon!
And that everything is known but when it comes to the things that are not known (Like the monoliths the ancient technologies in India, the architecture side of things which are parts of history itself are not mentioned!
Only the tools, food production and tools of war are taken into account disregarding the other evidences that point to our Uk own history.
Button line:
15hrs of learning about the history of human mankind and its Atrocities... nothing have changed, only technologies evolved &
Lies have taken modern shape...
Some might say: "How dare you say ONLY technology evolved, as if I am undermining human intellect and achievements! Of course not, but if we as society still aren't aligned with our actions such as the exploitation of animals, the earth and to other fellow men! how then evolution in the literal meaning implies itself? In other words, it seems we are still far away from anything related to becoming better, and that, is proven in history; to be solely an individuals task and after hundred of years a collective one...

I thought the book would give more details about the political side, o felt though hearing a kind of humble man good in business in ovation human conduct going through life of the old English colonies being a new american, I forgot for sometime that he is a founding father of the modern USA and I assumed it will speak more about the matter but I did enjoy the book in 4 days!

His vengeance against the gods of Olympus years behind him, Kratos now lives as a man in the realm of Norse gods and monsters. It is in this harsh, unforgiving world that he must fight to survive...and teach his son to do the same. This startling reimagining of God of War deconstructs the core elements that defined the series - satisfying combat, breathtaking scale, and a powerful narrative - and fuses them anew.

I always wondered what did Marcus Aurelius thought during his time and reign, it’s strange that while listening to this now in 2022 I can and did go back 2 millennia back with the wisdom of Stoicism! It is interesting really but take it as a side book, to digest it well and ponder upon ideas!
I had to rewind a lot just to think and follow the author.

Story
Man’s Search for Meaning is the chilling yet inspirational story of Viktor Frankl’s struggle to hold on to hope during the unspeakable horrors of his years as a prisoner in Nazi concentration camps. Between 1942 and 1945 Frankl labored in four different camps, including Auschwitz, while his parents, brother, and pregnant wife perished. Based on his own experience and the experiences of those he treated in his practice, Frankl argues that we cannot avoid suffering, but we can choose how to cope with it, find meaning in it, and move forward with renewed purpose.

1- the story of dr.Viktor Frankl
2- (Logo Therapy) describing his psychotherapeutic method, which involved identifying a purpose and how to give meaning to one’s life.
It’s a must read book not because it’s great, but because it is a must to read about the past and solutions about the present.
