My Name is EM Torrez-Egger. The title is perfect. There were a lot of familiar incidents that brought back childhood memories. Living in a KKK city and being Hispanic in the 60's was a very hard time of my life. And for that, I never learned to speak Spanish.
There were 18 of us in a 800sqft house. All of us kids had to sleep on a foam bed in a shed away from the house and take baths in the same water in a barrel. We were very poor as well. Goes to show that hard work shows in life. Having 3 daughters by the age of 21 and working every day of my life now raising grand children. I wished I could sit and talk and laugh with you.
I didn't realize how many movies you starred in, but the ones I've watched were amazing. Now I'm interested in watching all of them. Thank you!!!

All I can say is, you need to listen to this amazingly written story! I had me straight from the start! So many thoughts of how my grandparents lived and how poor we were. Being Spanish and living in a small town of the KKK. It touched home in different ways. Thank you for a wonderful book to listen to.

I like the story line from one book to the other and how they bleed into one another. I enjoyed this one because it was romantic and sexy but not over sexual. Only thing missing on this one was the COOKIE. I was expecting that at the end. Great job done!
