Story
Aidan Winters. Gorgeous, brilliant, ruthless, and filthy rich. He’s known as the Man in Black, because New York’s most sought-after bachelor is icy perfection in an all-black suit. As his executive assistant, I know his suit size, the security code to his penthouse, and the number to his private line. The only thing I don’t know is what would make him fall to his knees for a woman. And then, one night, I discover Aidan’s sexy secret. And he discovers mine.

Very old story. Tired of hearing physical descriptions: perfection from head to toes again and again. I've never felt this way before after 10 minutes of meeting someone give me something different. It took several times to get through this book, I was bored and irritable.
Jason and Eva great as always!

Story
Megan Dunn arrives in Seaside, Oregon a broken woman with a dream: open a B&B like she planned to do with her husband, Cass, whose life was tragically cut short five years ago. But the old Victorian she bought needs extensive renovations and the one man who can help her—Theo Valentine—takes an immediate and intense dislike to her. Left scarred and unable to talk after a terrible accident, the reclusive Theo is a brilliant contractor whose plans to renovate the building Megan bought are eerily similar to her own.

This book was so horrible. People compared it to, Pen Pal. Great reviews. I was excited to listen to the second book. I was bored, irritable trying to get through it.
I love Troy Duran. The majority of this was narrated by the female narrator. I couldn't stand hearing her rambling. Her voice as different characters was a high pitched sound I never want to hear again.
Wanted to hear a lot more from Troy. It felt like he was nothing more than a shadow in the book.
So disappointed!

A piece of paper destroyed me. It was one day...one moment...one letter. One lie. That's all it took to change the course of my life. Now he's back. And he thinks I'm the one who broke him. Someone is lying. And it's not me. But it's not him either. We need to learn to trust again. Sometimes, however, I think trust should be considered a four-letter word. Note to listeners: This book is a stand-alone novel.

Horrible
Reviewed: 08-26-24
The writing was horrible. Dalton is a terrible narrator. I will never listen to her again, she ruined the book. The story was so far out there making it hard to believe. Teddy, is great as always but he couldn't save this book. He did sound bored with his part trying to make this story work.
As I said, Dalton trying to narrate a man's voice was even worse.

Story
I'd never even kissed a boy the night I met Stone. The night I saw him kill. The night he spared my life. That was only the beginning. He turns up in my car again and again, dangerous and full of raw power. "Drive," he tells me, and I have no choice. He's a criminal with burning green eyes, invading my life and my dreams. The police say he's dangerously obsessed with me, but I'm the one who can't stop thinking about him.

I shouldn't have agreed to this. What was I thinking? Appearing on a local news show? Just because something happened to me? But here I am. And then I walked past his room. He's a giant—no softness, all muscle. And a rich beard that made me want to rub myself all over it. He made me see stars, literally, because the second time I saw him, I tripped. Or I would've, but he caught me, and the cameras were rolling. Soon, that clip will be trending because he wasn't just another guest on the show. He's Brett Broudou, the Kings' newest football star.

This book was so flat as were the characters. I don't understand why there was good reviews, which is why I bought it I fell asleep 3-4 times trying to get through this book.
Narration: I gave 4 stars for Teddy Hamilton. !!! He's so good, I've never been dissatisfied with his performances. Andi, is terrible. I wont' listen to her in the future. I hope your read this review before spending $ 20,00, wish I could get a refund.

Leo Miles came home broken - wounded and scarred. It’s been five years, and he hasn’t left his family’s land. Not once. It’s not much of a life, but the way he looks now, he prefers to stay hidden. His only reprieve is her voice. He puts on his headset, logs in to his game, and she’s there. They talk while they play, sharing everything but personal details. She’s his best friend - his happy place - even though he doesn’t know her real name. Until one day, he hears a voice he recognizes.

I felt so emotional hearing the painful struggles that Leo was going through. I have many scars on my face, and suffer with PTSD. HIs character was well written. The fears, shame, not daring to let people see him is very real for some. I felt the struggles for the female lead,. Trying to figure out who your partner really is and what he is capable of doing. I really enjoyed Leo's family and their banter, loved that they were supportive in his long recovery. Narration: 5 stars for Teddy Hamilton. The man can narrate anything and do it well. The female, horrible. Beware of her!!! I gave 4 stars for him, my mistake.

The hottest guy on campus won't stop asking me out. I know that sounds like a good problem to have, but this guy...this guy has no idea how complicated my life is trying to juggle being a single mom and college student. Every Thursday, he shows up at the café where I work. His cheesy pickup lines and arrogance should have me completely annoyed. I'm not. I can't say yes, but Thursday is my favorite day of the week.

What interested me about this story is that the lead female plays a young woman in college who has a small child. She is alone raising her son alone, works and following her dream.
Narration: The great Teddy Hamilton!!! You'll hear his soft sexy voice speaking and singing Spanish. I loved it! This book could have been good if the female narrator wasn't so horrible. My words for her, "find a new career." She ruined the story for me.

I'm Kate. I'm recently divorced and so done with men. Or I was until my boss pairs me with two gorgeous executives who make my blood race. Rumor is, they prefer to do their women one way: together. When a critical project takes us to paradise, I can't resist fantasy anymore. Marcus and Josh prove themselves considerate, attentive, and protective. Did I mention possessive, too?
