I haven’t gotten this far only to meet my maker in the dirty corridor of a wrecked spaceship. I survived an intergalactic civil war. I lost my family. I reinvented my entire life as a salvager on the fringes of the universe. I looked at dead bodies that were strewn around me. I stared down the barrel of the gun that was pointed at my chest. Betrayal was always ugly, but it looked especially awful this time. I had a terrible taste in my mouth.

Intriguing

Worst audio book ever!

Let's see, where should I begin? All the character are one dimensional and there is no character development for any of the characters. The story was lacking in substance. There was absolutely no point to the story at all. Now on to the audiobook part. The audiobook was even worse than the books themselves. It repeated itself many, many times. I mean like it will say the same phrase 2-3 times in a row. The person reading it was also terrible. There was even one point where you think the book it paused. Nope, you eventually hear the guy reading the story talking to himself and also hear him belching into the mic. I cannot recommend these books in any way. In fact, I would give it 0 stars if I could.

I was concerned about the footnotes in this book, but they blended seamlessly into the story. This is not a kids book, due to its graphic nature, but still a good story.
