Story
In her late 30's, Rosaria encountered something that turned her world upside down - the idea that Christianity, a religion she had regarded as problematic, might be right about who God was. That idea seemed to fly in the face of the people and causes that she most loved. What follows is a story of what she describes as a train wreck at the hand of the supernatural. These are her secret thoughts about those events, written as only a reflective English professor could.

God’s immeasurable mercy and grace.

Loved the honesty of the author in speaking about the difficulty of turning from the world and towards the one, true Triune God. The discussion of how pride is such a pervasive temptation convicted me and gave me insight on how I present to the world at times. I was moved to tears several times.

Story
Modern culture is increasingly outspoken against a biblical understanding of what it means to be a woman. Even some Christians, swayed by the LGBTQ+ movement, have rejected God’s word on issues of sexuality and gender in favor of popular opinion. In light of these pressures, it’s more important than ever to help women see the truth about who God created them to be. In this powerful book, Rosaria Butterfield uses Scripture to confront 5 common lies about sexuality, faith, feminism, gender roles, and modesty often promoted in our secular culture today.

Love the scripture references, the explanations of how our society got here, hope for change in our loved ones, courage to stand firm against the assaults of Satan. Lift high the cross!

Love the healing hints for myself as learned through this story. Dr. Boz reads with passion only the author/someone equally in agreement with the subject can project. Really made me want to know everything I could regarding living low carb / high fat. Was the first step towards a very successful health improvement for me. ~Steph
