Story
The Ghosts of the Tanith First-and-Only have been away from the front line for too long. Listless and hungry for action, they are offered a mission that perfectly suits their talents. The objective: the mysterious Salvation's Reach, a remote and impenetrable stronghold concealing secrets that could change the course of the Sabbat Worlds campaign.

Terrible narrator.

I understand that sometimes narrators change within a series. That said, this narrator has made clowns out of the characters and taken the gravitas out of a story that requires it. Fkn disappointing.

Story
The Aftermath of a stunning victory—especially an unexpected, complete, and final victory—should be high-fives all around, listening to politicians give boring congratulatory speeches, and a well-deserved rest for the Merry Band of Pirates. Yes, the galaxy is still a freakin' mess, but that is nothing new, and for a change, that can be someone else's problem. Until, you know, something really bad happens, and only the Pirates can deal with the problem... Or not.

Story
A floating fortress occupied by warrior gnomes. A castle made of sand. A derelict submarine guarded by malfunctioning machines. A haunted crypt surrounded by lethal traps. It was supposed to be easy. One bubble. Four castles. Fifteen days. Capture each one, and the stairwell is unlocked. Here's the thing. It's never easy. Carl and his team can't go it alone. Not this time. They must rely on the help of the low-level, I-can't-believe-these-idiots-are-still-alive crawlers trapped in the bubble with them. But can they be trusted?

Story
It’s not easy making the career jump from office-supplies-store middle manager to heroic interdimensional adventurer. At least, Jason tries to be heroic, but it's hard to be good when all your powers are evil. He’ll face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters...and that’s just on the first day. He’s going to need courage, he’s going to need wit, and he’s going to need some magic powers of his own. But first, he’s going to need pants.

Story
The Rangers and Osay colonists have won the fight for control of their corner of Amir. But as the threat of invasion from nearby RUPAC special forces loom, Reach, Alexa, and Brody seek to make newfound neighbors into allies. But friendship isn’t easy to come by, even on a planet as hostile to humans as Amir. Even inside the Ranger-protected confines of the O-C, tensions boil over as Liana works to find a way to make Ranger, Osay, and RUPAC defectors coexist and save their hostility for what lays outside the colony’s growing walls.

I’ve enjoyed everything about this series so far. It’s got heart, it’s got tech, and it’s got grit. Authors Anspach and Chaney are currently my favorites and I cannot get enough. R.C. Bray the narrator is the best in the business.
Top three for me are, Schwarzenegger, Van Damme, and John Wayne. I know Wayne isn’t eighties but it is what it is. If Wayne doesn’t count then Stallone is my third.
Thanks for the great stories!!
