Story
The world is a dangerous place—especially when you’re up to no good. Whether you’re a rampaging monster, a calculating mastermind, or the current possessor of the Golden MacGuffin, someone’s going to come at you. In How to Defend Your Lair, gamemaster Keith Ammann pulls back the curtain on an underrated but crucial part of any tabletop roleplaying game: the theater of battle. Say goodbye to encounters in randomly generated dungeons and hello to a game in which where the fight takes place is just as important as who is doing the fighting.

I have literally waited months for this to come to audiobook, you are a study on D&D, the grandmaster - so well thought out and the reader is perfect from the last book

This is a book I’ve been waiting for since I first discovered the first one, I’ve listened to the original as a reference for D&D dozens of times while at work to prep for games. The last readers voice was a perfect learning tone but now with this book… do you like learning from the show, “How it’s Made”? Well this narrator has essentially the identical tone as the narrator on that show, you’ll hear it don’t worry - perfect 12/10*

Story
Bianca has never been good at following the plan. She's more of an act-now, deal-with-the-consequences-later kind of person. But consequences can't be put off forever, as Bianca learns when she and her best friend, Lonnie, are in a terrible car crash. Waking up in the hospital, almost paralyzed by her injuries, Bianca is faced with questions she's not equipped to answer. She chooses instead to try a new virtual-reality version of Minecraft that responds to her every wish, giving her control over a world at the very moment she thought she'd lost it.

12 year olds don't say rivulet or ankst and the litany of other words these sad children say... and talk about beyond depressing storyline - this wasn't much of a Minecraft book, more of a grief and depression counselling session for kids disquised poorly using vague references to the game, ignoring most of the actual game play physics completely in order to make it seem more "epic". Narrator had nice voice changes for the characters however lol

Three Fantastic Lecturers, + one iffy one.

Second narrator should learn how to read
Reviewed: 01-09-18
My ears and brain hurt from listening to the African religion section - I don't want to learn from a surfer/stoner/Californian who can barely read and articulate. African religion is fascinating and I was really disappointed that the reader was so poor and the material was so badly organized it was hard to understand. If you have to correct yourself more that 5 times in 30 minutes, maybe you should record that section again...
