This is exactly the type of book I look for when it comes to topics like this. It provides ways to practice and exercise the skill of gratitude instead of just focusing on theory or just giving you information about why it's important. This book also doesn't fall into the trap of giving information that is too general. Well-worth the price.

Contains a lot of useful information about how to love and to improve your relationships with other people. It really managed to show me things about human behavior I had not considered.
My only minor issue is that many things are explained in kind of a "list" format which leads me to wonder if I may have been better off getting the physical book. However this can be solved by simply taking notes which is what I did. Perhaps they should include a pdf of this lists with this book.

Too Much Reliance on Belief in Reincarnation
Reviewed: 04-03-19
Many of the meditations require that you believe in reincarnation in order to work. Given that I don't believe in that, they're useless to me.
Also, the narrator was irritatingly slow, I had to increase the speed to 1.4-1.5 in order for it to sound normal.

Story
The occasion was a big birthday. And it inspired two close friends to get together in Dharamsala for a talk about something very important to them. The friends were His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. The subject was joy. Both winners of the Nobel Prize, both great spiritual masters and moral leaders of our time, they are also known for being among the most infectiously happy people on the planet.

Full of practical advice

This book offered many insightful nuggets of wisdom and gives a new perspective on many things that I hadn't considered before. I especially enjoyed the step by step meditation instructions in the end. I also enjoyed listening to the two personalities of the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu interacting with each other.
I've also read The Art of Happiness by the Dalai Lama so some of the information I was already familiar with. However, this book still gives additional information and it helped me to understand more completely the essential ingredients for happiness.
Even reading this book put me in a better mood. There's something contagious about their warm-hearted personalities (Dalai Lama amd Tutu) when they read their own parts. The narrator had a nice voice too.
It was also interesting to see the different perspectives of people from two different worldviews, where they differed, but also how for the most part, they coincided.
This was definitely worth every penny.
