Story
William Waters grew up in a house silenced by tragedy, where his parents could hardly bear to look at him, much less love him—so when he meets the spirited and ambitious Julia Padavano in his freshman year of college, it’s as if the world has lit up around him. With Julia comes her family, as she and her three sisters are inseparable: Sylvie, the family’s dreamer, is happiest with her nose in a book; Cecelia is a free-spirited artist; and Emeline patiently takes care of them all.

Loved it I could relate my granddaughter has Autism, she was medicated from 1st grade till 5th grade because the teachers could not deal with her not sitting still in her set, she would finish her work and then go help others. Before she entered 6th grade, she asked if she could go off medication. She felt she could manage without. So doctors agreed. This year she graduated from high school with a high GPA. She now is working in training as a Registered Behavioral Therapist helping children with Autism. So proud of her no medication since 5th grade. She is so strong.

Story
Seth Hubbard is a wealthy man dying of lung cancer. He trusts no one. Before he hangs himself from a sycamore tree, Hubbard leaves a new, handwritten, will. It is an act that drags his adult children, his Black maid, and Jake into a conflict as riveting and dramatic as the murder trial that made Brigance one of Ford County's most notorious citizens, just three years earlier. The second will raises far more questions than it answers. Why would Hubbard leave nearly all of his fortune to his maid? Had chemotherapy and painkillers affected his ability to think clearly?

I enjoyed this book it kept my interests, the history whether true or not makes you stop and think about so much. The characters Jake and Harry X were brilliant as attorneys. Seth and his brother witness a terrible tragedy at a very early are and carries the story for years before Seth brother reveals the tragedy it public in court via video. I just admit years rolled down my cheeks at the end. #Alllivesmatter

Story
When the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941, Cornelia Fort was already in the air. At 22, Fort had escaped Nashville’s debutante scene for a fresh start as a flight instructor in Hawaii. She and her student were in the middle of a lesson when the bombs began to fall, and they barely made it back to ground. Still, when the US Army Air Forces put out a call for women pilots to aid the war effort, Fort was one of the first to respond. She became one of just over 1,100 women from across the nation to make it through the Army’s rigorous selection process and earn her silver wings.

Story
1941. Audrey Coltrane has always wanted to fly. It's why she implored her father to teach her at the little airfield back home in Texas. It’s why she signed up to train military pilots in Hawaii when the war in Europe began. And it’s why she insists she is not interested in any dream-derailing romantic involvements, even with the disarming Lieutenant James Hart, who fast becomes a friend as treasured as the women with whom she flies. Then one fateful day, she gets caught in the air over Pearl Harbor just as the bombs begin to fall, and suddenly, nowhere feels safe.

I enjoyed this book, loved the store line, history lesson on female pilots was great. I learned things I did not know like we had female flight instructors before Pearl Harbor. The highs and lows of being female pilots and the horrible tragedy they lived through with the loss of friends.
