Not big on mystery genre but loved

So,
I preoreded this book purely out of dedication to the author and her co-hos Ash from their acclaimed pod-cast Morbid. I am usually the SciFi Fantasy genre type of gal so taking on this book I was a wee bit nervous I wouldn't be a huge fan or enjoy but I was wrong. The book is very immersive and you feel as you are right along with the characters. spin chilling in some parts and a twist I didn't see coming (I usually sense them a mile away) I look forward to the sequel when it comes.
Keep it weird but not so weird that you don't give this book a try
