Story
As Keira struggles to uncover the tangled histories of some of the graveyard's oldest denizens, danger seeps from the darkest edges of the forest. A vicious serial killer was interred among the trees decades before, his spirit twisted by his violent nature. He's furious. Ravenous. And when Keira unwittingly answers his call, she may just seal her fate as his final intended victim.

Story
The Perry family's new house is perfect - except for the weird behavior of the neighbors, and that odd smell coming from a dark corner in the basement. Pity no one warned the family about the house. Now it's too late. Because the darkness at the bottom of the basement stairs is rising.

It’s entertaining

Some parts are a little goofy, and like other people have commented in their own reviews, you just have to convince yourself that the little girl is 15 instead of 11 and it’ll make more sense.
The concept is cool, some parts are just a little cringy and there are some weird implications about people with mental health issues and a few other questionable things but hey I kept on listening.
I will say the personality of the main woman, Claire, is just kind of off-putting, she’s so judgey and whiney sometimes.
Overall, it’s a fun “read,” it’s suspenseful, mysterious, exciting and yeah it’s free so why not
Have a good day.

Story
There's something wrong with Ashburn House. The ancient building has been the subject of rumours for close to a century. Its owner, Edith, refused to let guests inside and rarely visited the nearby town. Following Edith's death, her sole surviving relative, Adrienne, inherits the property. Adrienne's only possessions are a suitcase of luggage, 20 dollars, and her pet cat. Ashburn House is a lifeline she can't afford to refuse. Adrienne doesn't believe in ghosts, but it's hard to ignore the unease that grows as she explores her new home.
