Excellent book, pretty typical of what you already know except her childhood. She's pretty stand up individual. With Keion being her husband, I'm surprised that she doesn't know that she can pray for others, not just him. There's no fancy way to talk to God, just say what comes to your heart. I'm glad that she found love again. She's an awesome, she speaks very highly of them all.

great read, a little weird towards the end though with her belief system, it makes her confused not knowing what to trust in, honestly she's spent so much time in relationships and being married that she's still searching for her peace of mind, she needs to seek out heavenly father, the Lord above

great read! very much a true president and patriot! I wish he had personalized it more with his younger years before meeting Michelle. however, it was still great to learn about his love of family and the oval office.

Some of the content was heavy in the beginning. Towards the end though, their friendship had changed and most of her knowledge of events especially during the Bobby Brown years was more hear-say through friends and former colleagues and former employees. Overall, a great listen though.

You can definitely relate, male or female. Seems as if he's still finding himself, but his honesty makes it a good read. However, it's a little sad sort of. He's still such a work in progress, that maybe he should have held off writing the book or maybe I was looking for a happy lesson learned in the end - like a major break through. However, I commend him for being transparent.

Great testimony overall, typical hard upbringing with most black fatherless people, a rags to riches story, met as teenagers, built a singing friendship, eventually feel in love, last 6 couples are telling married couples how to successfully maintain their love and marriage.
