Story
Dalinar Kholin challenged the evil god Odium to a contest of champions with the future of Roshar on the line. The Knights Radiant have only ten days to prepare—and the sudden ascension of the crafty and ruthless Taravangian to take Odium’s place has thrown everything into disarray. Desperate fighting continues simultaneously worldwide—Adolin in Azir, Sigzil and Venli at the Shattered Plains, and Jasnah in Thaylenah. The former assassin, Szeth, must cleanse his homeland of Shinovar from the dark influence of the Unmade.

Not my favorite book of the series. They gave Kaladin a nice send off and excited to see if he'll return later in the cosmere. Didn't like how they rushed Dalinar's story and it seemed somewhat cheap to use the Black Thorne the way they did. WHAT HAPPENED TO ROCK? It set you up for Sunlit Man so would recommend reading/listening to this first. Definitely could have gone without a homosexual relationship forced into the story line, but I was committed so I just skipped through the majority of that. Hopefully didn't miss anything crucial. Like I said though, not the best from the series but i still enjoyed it.

Story
Five days ago, the epidemic of rage began. Four days ago, the rash of senseless murders swept the nation. Three days ago, the president addressed the country and begged for peace—even as the murders increased tenfold. Two days ago, the killers began to mobilize. One day ago, the power went out. And tonight, the killers are reading the names of those to be killed over the Emergency Broadcast System.

I've enjoyed this authors other works and this one didn't disappoint. It was a bit dark and gritty but I enjoyed it entirely.

Story
For thousands of years, the Chiss Ascendancy has been an island of calm, a center of power, and a beacon of integrity. It is led by the Nine Ruling Families, whose leadership stands as a bulwark of stability against the Chaos of the Unknown Regions. But that stability has been eroded by a cunning foe who winnows away trust and loyalty in equal measure. Bonds of fidelity have given way to lines of division among the families. Despite the efforts of the Expansionary Defense Fleet, the Ascendancy slips closer and closer to civil war.

A great finish to the second trilogy. Narrator has immense skill with switching between voices and the overall story kept you engaged the whole time. Now that we are all caught up with Thrawn it's time he gets his own Disney+ series!
