Like the rest of the series, with every book it only gets better. I loved this final installment and wish it wasn't the end.

Hmmm

My expectations were pretty high for this novel because of the Throne of Glass series. However, it took a very long time to catch my interest. Furthermore, the narrator reminded me of a more monotone version of Susan Serandon.

Freak. Witch. Crazy. Schizo. Ember Brycin has been called them all. She's always known she's different. No one has ever called her normal, even under the best circumstances. Bizarre and inexplicable things continually happen to her, and having two different colored eyes, strange hair, and an unusual tattoo only contributes to the gossip about her. When the latest school explosion lands her in a facility for trouble teens, she meets Eli Dragen, who's hot as hell and darkly mysterious.

Interesting enough but the narrator ruins it
Reviewed: 06-29-16
I think I'd like the story but I couldn't even pay attention to it because the narrator is trying so hard to sound sultry the entire time. It's extremely annoying. Every word out of her mouth sounds like she's a phone sex operator.

Not enough actually about Simon.

I wish that would have gone into more detail about what Simon is actually doing and his experiences at the academy.
