About this listen

Werewolves, facing the threat of extinction, desperately seek their mates to bear young. Aurora, a human far removed from the supernatural world, is nearing her own end after being fatally injured in a car accident. Kai, an alpha werewolf, lurks in the nearby trees watching her bleed out. He chooses to save her the only way he knows how, by changing her. Aurora struggles with her past as a domestic abuse survivor and the new dominating and violent lifestyle of a werewolf. No one is prepared for what happens next. The tides turn in favor of the werewolves. The Matefinder has been found, and she is more powerful than anybody ever imagined. But is she prepared to be the most hunted werewolf in history?

The book was fast paced, had a kickass female lead, decent storyline, a pretty good narrator, and it was written well.

I was annoyed with the narrator, as a previous reviewer mentioned she sounded young. Real young. She did an excellent job but for some strange reason it nagged at me. Oh and it ends with a cliffhanger. No HEA...yet. That kinda nags too.

Good

I thought werewolves were a bad thing for humans. This book shows a whole different perspective on werewolves, vampires, witches and the infernal know it all government.

Liked a lot of it, but some of it annoyed me.

Werewolves are good?

I was told by lots of people that this was a great book. I didn't finish it and don't really want to. I got really bored with it.

This was another great 1st book in a series by Leia Stone. Matefinder: Volume 1 had so many great moments I couldn't name them all!!! Leia definitely knows how to write a shifter story! Data Rosenberg did a magnificent job!! Can't wait for the next book to see what happens!

Loved It!

Interesting story, not to long or drawn out on descriptions. Narrator was okay. Will probably purchase 2nd title.

pretty good

This book was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. Just by rating the prescription I wasn’t too thrilled, but thought I would try anyway. It was really good. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Better then I thought it would be

This is an OK book, but the author lacks world building and good pacing. The main character learns about a supernatural world and immediately jumps in as if she had lived like this. She is shocked for all of a sentence before she’s suddenly the chosen one and the best at her job. Everything was put together with a pretty bow, but didn’t allow any buildup toward everything becoming so perfect. There was a problem and then the solution. No working through the problems just suddenly ‘poof’ the problem is gone. The pacing is really off and jumps from minor issue to minor issue, that within a couple paragraphs is perfectly managed and fixed without any effort made by any of the main characters. This made the book quite boring and hard to finish.

Pacing is bad and no really world building
