The story was odd and drawn out and after listening to it for hrs I discovered the main plot was how man screwed himself and the whole planet. Which I think is BS so in the end I ended up paying some fool to feed me BS and there for am feeling like a fool too.

Story
Wyoming's new governor isn't sure what to make of Joe Pickett, but he has a job for him that is extremely delicate. A prominent female British executive never came home from the high-end guest ranch she was visiting, and the British Embassy is pressing hard. Pickett knows that happens sometimes - these ranches are stocked with handsome young cowboys, and "ranch romances" aren't uncommon. But no sign of her months after she vanished? That suggests something else.

In order
Reviewed: 06-19-23
The only thing I have any room at all to complain about is the numbers that designate the order of the series, sometimes they're there , sometimes they're not ! I guess it's not a big deal but I spend a lot of listening time figuring out which book is next.
