Story
Look, I've had it bad for the girl with all the curves next door forever. She turned me down in high school and since I'm not a total douchecanoe, I lusted after her all by myself in my shower, and we stayed just friends for years. Now she's the adorkable librarian next door, and I'm the star quarterback of the best pro football team in the league. So when she asks me to be her fake date to her all-girls school reunion, I am totally down to show her off to the mean girls who bullied her back then so they can see just how incredible she is.

Ending was SO Dumb, eye rollingly Corny.

could have been great if just a tad more realistic and not so coyingly trite. The ending scene made me stop listening with only 20 minutes left in the whole book. Waste of time. Performance was excellent by narrators.

Story
There’s a lot I’ve never told my best friend. The fact that I love him. That I miss him every day he’s gone. That, sometimes, I ache for him with a ferocity that leaves me breathless. Lucky Buchanan tore into my life as a boy, wild and daring, my opposite in every way. He drew me in, stole my heart without trying. He hears me, even though I rarely speak a word. But I always knew this place wouldn’t be enough for my free-spirited friend. I knew he wasn’t mine to keep.

Story
Soldiers die, that’s just how it goes. It’s different when it’s one of your brothers. Team Maelstrom, my team, was broken when we lost one of our own. And now we have to sit around Stateside while the men in charge figure out what to do with us. When they find a replacement, I immediately know it’s not going to work. I can’t deal with this pain in the ass. I want him gone. It looks like I’m stuck with him, but I don’t have to make it easy....

Reckless, arrogant, and bold, Solo is as known in the US Navy for his bad-boy reputation as he is for his skills as a fighter pilot. It’s a surprise to his peers, then, when he’s chosen to train and compete at the most prestigious naval aviation academy in the world. Disciplined, smart, and confident, Panther can’t afford not to play by the rules. As the son of a top Navy commander, all eyes are on him, and being anything less than number one is unacceptable.

Cliffhanger Money Grab
Reviewed: 03-11-24
Narration is excellent. I actually liked the story, but it is 4 hours 25 minutes and ends in a cliffhanger forcing you to buy the next book. I am fine with multiple installments in a series. However, the placing of the cutoff was abrupt, and too soon in the story arc to be considered normal. They basically just took 1 book and cut it in half at a high tension moment. Rude.

Story
Kyran Harbor is everything I'm not. Rich. Popular. A superstar football player who's awfully broody for someone who has it all. Basically, he's a preppy jock who hates me. Oh, and he's also my stepbrother. That's right. We're stuck together, sharing a school, a house, a bathroom. Honestly I wouldn't care if he wasn't such an uptight control freak who messes with me just because we're different. I had every intention of avoiding him when we got to college. Until abrupt misfortune forces us both into a compromising position.

The title "For the Fans" does not do this masterpiece justice. This is not just some tropey gay porn flick ( Although it has probably some of the hottest scenes to ever be wriiten). It is a story with true depth that will stick with you. So So Good.

Story
I like to party; to have a good time. Life’s too short not to. I learned that when I lost my grandpa. He told me to have fun while I can, and I intend to. Though sometimes when you’re having a good time, you forget others may see you as irresponsible. And sometimes you screw up. I’ve definitely screwed up a time or two, but I’m still determined to have fun. I’m hoping I’ll convince my best friend, Camden, to do the same along the way. He’s too serious. Too focused. Too busy taking care of everyone to just relax. And that’s where I come in.

Decent, but Rushed...
Reviewed: 11-13-23
I enjoyed these characters but some aspects of the story were just flat out rushed, especially towards the end. The meat of the story is very good, but it lacked the depth that would have made it great.

A Wonderful Coming of Age Time Capsule
Reviewed: 11-09-23
I LOVE this series. Great third installment. The subtleties of growing up can be forgotten so easily. But this series captures it SO well, and brings back those feelings from when you are first discovering the world and who you are in it. As someone who grew up in the nineties I appreciate this so much. I can't wait for future installments. I can imagine this being a TV show!
