love love love Tijan! 5 star for story. Zero stars for narrator. This was another great storyline. I just wish the narrator was different, (who picked her??!?!?!?!?!!). I could hardly stand the nasally childish voice, but I trucked on because the story was great. Supposed to be a 22yr old woman's voice!!! This almost ruined it for me. I had to download the book and read most of it. Will Not be listening to any by this narrator again, unless it's a story of a prepubescent boy.

This was one I stumbled across. I love all of Jamin Eves books. The beginning is very fast paced and you dont want to miss a word if you are going to properly understand the world created here. Kept my interst, will be on the 2nd book of series!

I have read/ listened to Many Paranormal Romances. Some hardly keep my interest. It takes a lot to keep my attention, and this one did the whole time. Not a ton of bs and unnecessary droning on, which is refreshing. Not to long or too short. Also this book/ listen is read in 3rd person, switching back and forth from the male and female lead. Many PR books switch back and forth from character to character reading in 1st person, or only one pov. I came across this listen unintentionally. This is the first of this author I have tried. Great storyline with folklore, mystery, and lust. I find myself most of the time trying these kinds of series out and I stop after the first book. I will definitely continue on to the 2nd with this one!
