This series is great and the ending was perfect it for only 3 books the author did a great job wrapping things up. Can’t say too much without giving away spoilers so I’ll leave it at that but I’ll definitely be revisiting the series again when there’s a lull in new releases in this genre A+

That ending was such a happy ending but super emotional for such a short series. Really enjoyed the books and can’t wait for the sequel to Master Class. Great series by a great author.

Great book great story but…
Reviewed: 10-13-21
The existing and production of this book made it seem rushed. So rushed it never even showed up on audible until it was released. Half the chapters sound like they’re at 2x speed with the quality but it just seems re-recorded over content with minor fixes please remove and redo the work

"Kill. Kill them all." It's the first four words Lars usually wakes up to every morning, a voice telling him she's just giving him a "quest" that will help him "level". But even if he wanted to do it, he can't. They're cultivators: beings with ancestral bloodlines that have powers he could only dream of, while he is stuck as a puny human. Even if he could kill them, the people who bullied him, beat him, treated him like a punch-bag pariah for being a "tailless worthless human", he wouldn't. That is, until a vicious group of murderous psychopaths called a "sect" descend on his village.

These books (the series) is incredibly fascinating with a plot line that is tantalizing. I have never been more captivated by a series since Harry Potter. Definitely worth a listen and if you have the free time better to read the books I give it a 10/10
