George A. Romero terrified a generation with his iconic horror film and with this cult-classic novel. Immerse yourself in this unparalleled vision from the revered master of the zombie apocalypse...and be terrified all over again. Zombies have overpowered the living and ravaged the world. Society has collapsed as humans race to save themselves. No one knows how far the creatures have spread or how to stop them. Story
In 2059, two vastly different groups of people portrayed by the compelling trio of Brendan Fraser (Academy Award winner), Luke Kirby (Emmy Award winner), and Vanessa Sears (Dora Award winner) undergo cryonic suspension. While their bodies are frozen, their minds, still active and awake, are uploaded into a massive quantum computer. The first group are all astronauts, about to leave Earth on a one-way interstellar colonization mission. The second group consists of convicted murderers and volunteers who elect to serve their sentences in a virtual-reality prison.

Not enough time to build up a personal connection

Just ok, Felt rushed... No time to build a connection with the players, The end was lackluster and you get attached to Brendan's story at the beginning and for what? it was ablet down...
Once the author had the ending he didn't know how to properly end it...
Was the story enjoyable? Yes... But it definitely felt rushed.

If you're a fan of The Warriors film you NEED to read this.
It was hard to follow at first due to different names but once you understood it... It became easy. The violence in this is certainly a different approach from the movie. Murder, Rape.... I was certainly not surprised who got raped tho LMAO.
Be warned, The last hour of the book is Sol Yuriks story and also very interesting to listen to.
Definitely 5☆☆☆☆☆

Just like a Fullmoon movie, A Crazy Good Time
Reviewed: 11-29-21
As a fan of Fullmoon movies growing up as a kid, Its amazing to hear how these classic films was all created lol.
2 things I can find about this book I felt could've been improved.... The lack of talking about Puppet Master... Yes he mentions it but thats it, I feel that's his biggest franchise and he treats it like some basterd red headed step child. That alone could've been another chapter or so.....
and the other thing is Charles Band starts off reading the book and it gets you excited for a great time..... And that's it... His story is read by someone else... BUMMER.
BUUUUUUT Besides that, The man owned A Castle, A FREAKING CASTLE 🏰....
Keep doing what you do Mr Band, Love the cheese then, Still loving the cheese now.
Thanks....

Story
Everyone knows the hits: "Mony Mony," "I Think We're Alone Now," "Crimson and Clover," "Crystal Blue Persuasion." They are nuggets of rock and pop history. However, few know the unlikely story of how these hits came to be. Tommy James had been performing in rock bands in the Michigan area since the age of 12. Prompted to record a few songs by a local disc jockey in 1964, Tommy chose an obscurity titled "Hanky Panky," which became a minor local hit that came and went.

People ask me how come I'm still alive, and I don't know what to say. When I was growing up, if you'd have put me up against a wall with the other kids from my street and asked me which one of us was gonna make it to the age of sixty, which one of us would end up with five kids and four grandkids and houses in Buckinghamshire and Beverly Hills, I wouldn't have put money on me, no f**king way. But here I am: ready to tell my story, in my own words, for the first time.
