Story
An ultimatum from my football team manager landed me here on this far-flung tropical island, where I'm expected to work on my issues in a rehab center for the elite. I'm not the only one here to curb their reckless behavior. My teammate, Theo Lewin, has been banished to the island with me. Now, we're supposed to learn how to work together. Otherwise, we risk being transferred to another team. There's one small problem. We've hated each other since the day we met. Forced to confront our issues with nowhere to escape, we're expected to not only spend our days together but our nights, too.

I love Theo and Jordan!

I’ve read and listened to quite a few Becca Steele books this week. Reckless is my now favorite. Theo and Jordan made me feel all the feels. Highly recommend.

Story
Love is for other people, not for me. At least that’s what I believed, until I met Julian Hill. The most famous rock star on the planet. A music god with untidy hair and the voice of an angel. I’ll never be anything but out, and he has very good reasons to stay in the closet. He just wants a little privacy. I understand that. Truly, I do. But no one makes me feel the way he does, and I’m pretty sure he has feelings for me as well. Which is inconvenient, since his record label just hired me to sue him. Guess I should’ve sorted things out before I kissed him…oops.

I loved it!

There are a few things that as far as the story goes that bothered me but overall it was a great read. I love the characters and their love for one another. I wish some of these books would make it less about conflict between the two characters and more about outside conflict they fight together. The outside conflict wouldn’t even have to be about characters being queer. Just my thoughts.

Frustrating.

As far as the story, overall the ending was great. However, getting there took forever and then it was over in one chapter plus the epilogue. I was read to DNF the book out of frustration with the characters. When you read it, you’ll understand. As far as the narration.. one was good and the other seemed to have the worst quality ever. Like it was recorded in a hallow room with a kid’s microphone. The multiple POV and other character voices weren’t very easy to distinguish between. The music between chapters was ..odd. I don’t think I can read anymore books by this author bc of how frustrating this one was.

Story
It's time for me to start pulling my weight in the Suarez clan—to prove I'm worth more than the plays I make on the field or the dirt I dig up on rival families. I want to make Wolfy proud. And to not get unalived by Simon. So I volunteered what I had to offer, knowing my infamous genes could be used for uniting two powerful clans in marriage. After all, I'm the only not gay one in my family, so that alone should entice the super-babes looking to get busy with baby-making. I mean, as long as they don't ask me to do math or anything.

I didn’t think I would like this series. It’s so different from what I usually pick. I read the “sin city meets the boys” and that sold me. The author has created a whole universe and characters that I have grown attached to. Every book is hilarious. I love the authors sense of humor. The spice is extra spicy. The narrator for Z killed it in this book. Can’t recommend this enough.
