Story
Intelligence is usually seen as the ability to think and learn, but in a rapidly changing world, there's another set of cognitive skills that might matter more: the ability to rethink and unlearn. In recent months, the pandemic has forced us all to reevaluate our assumptions about health and safety and multiple acts of police brutality have challenged most of us to reconsider our responsibility for fighting racism. Yet in our daily lives, too many of us still favor the comfort of conviction over the discomfort of doubt.

I found the book very interesting and practical in the way which it provided fresh perspectives and new ways of having conversations without having to agree.

Story
Why are some people and organisations more inventive, pioneering and successful than others? And why are they able to repeat their success again and again? Because in business it doesn't matter what you do, it matters why you do it. Steve Jobs, the Wright brothers and Martin Luther King have one thing in common: they started with why. This book is for anyone who wants to inspire others or to be inspired.

The way that Simon Sinek is able to convey such valuable and though provoking information in an easily digestible manner, is masterful!
Fantastic book to read at the start of every year to re-evaluate why you are doing what you are doing and what needs to change.

Story
A revolutionary system to get one per cent better every day. People think when you want to change your life, you need to think big. But world-renowned habits expert James Clear has discovered another way. He knows that real change comes from the compound effect of hundreds of small decisions – doing two push-ups a day, waking up five minutes early, or holding a single short phone call. He calls them atomic habits.

Practical and ever relevant

This book provides so many insights and practical guidance on how to better understand (A) which habits we have, (B) identifying which habits we want to have and figuring out how to get from point A to point B. One of my all time favourite reads!
